Time for Mourinho to prove he's not past his best. I think he may struggle to win titles.

OP
Manchester is the centre of world football, even though both Manchester clubs finished behind the two from North London where it really matters, in the prem.

No one cares Tottenham will be back in mid table next season your a small club and won fack all again this season.

I still think it was very disrespectful of the club to leak this on the day LVG won the FA cup.
It looks like Maureen and United are a good fit, then. Classless, greedy and über-focused on the commercial side. It's a long, long way from the MUFC that I grew up supporting. Sad times indeed. Where is my club?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So was hiring Jose the turning point or was it when we started paying our players 100K per week to sit on the bench or was it when we started milking Asian fans for money or was it when we sold our club to some American leeches?
I haven't wanted us to get Mourinho since he trolled us when he joined Chelsea saying about only 1 club he could join.

i agree that it is pretty poor.
i wonder whether the leak/briefing didn't actually happen earlier, and the press were asked to keep it quiet until after the match?
United are making a big mistake.
Should wait for Pochatino 1 year on. A more modern manager that promotes youth.

If Jose can't win us a league or two and get us into a CL final..I can't see how he can anything but a failure. The guy is gonna strip the youth players in the team etc so he MUST deliver.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
sure, if love never plays for the first xi again then it will need at least 2 titles and a CL to rescue jose's reputation.
CBJ, varela, and TFM were dropped pretty sharpish by LVG, but no doubt that will be used as a stick to beat jose with next year.
LVG has won more points as Man Utd manager then MP of Spurs has won as Spurs manager in premierleague.
I reckon Pep side will lose 4-3 on pens to Tuchel Dortmund but anything can happen.

No. It began when we started attracting "supporters" like you, Robb.
Jose and Zlatan are deffo not a combination I am looking forward to.
But it seems having an enormous head is now seen as a good thing and shows character. Whereas it used to show you were a complete tw8t;
Fergie had confidence in himself, but kept his ego to himself.
United are my club and will be for life, but I think next season will be a bit of a circus.
I really hoped for someone different, who wanted to win but play good football, and not make everything about him.
Hargreaves said he decided to smash it instead of hitting it low in CL final. Good job he did otherwise Cech would have saved it.

Man united selling out to his petty antics and his full football. Pathetic
Pep and Jose had 2 seasons together in Spain, both won 1 league and 1 domestic cup. Pep also won the 2011 CL with arguably the greatest club side ever. Jose also overcame pep the season before with inter. It'll be a great battle.

Get off your high horse. You're the one slating the club to high heaven and i'm embracing its choice.
I think you need to look in the mirror and try to understand that time doesn't stand still
Tuchel cost himself asking defenders to take pens. Finished 4-3 to Bayern Munich. Now Pep joins Man City a winner.
Yes, you've embraced everything the modern, asian, chinese, north american fan wants for entertainment on their chosen media format. And, in doing so, not only have you embraced, but you have embarrassed yourself.
It's along way from sport. And a universe away from being a fan of football. Almost as far away as you are from being a real Manchester United supporter.
Embrace this, you feckin' aśshòle. You and every other glory hunter - but you are the worst, by a country mile.<one-finger-smiley>

I love how seriously you take all this. Ironically you're being much like what you accuse Jose of being.
With fans like you.... etc
United have been classy and I'm sure Sir Bobby Charlton and Sir Alex are really WARMING to Jose.
Sir Bobby must really hate the current state of United.
The classless one appointed to head his beloved Man United!!!!
