I seem to remember Adam playing well against Spain when he came on. Adam does give the ball away too easily at times though and tries the glory ball far too much, but he's worth it for the set pieces and the glory balls do sometimes come off. He is just like a quarter back in US football spraying longer passes around.

Goodwillie is absolutely terrible out wide, he doesn't have a clue what to do. He's skillful, pacy, great passer and can beat his man endlessly but he cannot play out wide to save his life. When he plays up top he'll spend a fair amount of time out wide, but he can't cope with being played as an actual wide player.

No one's saying Hutton is playing well. He's not, but he has an excuse. He hasn't kicked a ball in months and shouldn't have been picked because of this. It was gamble by Levein.
