There are no real prospects of future promotion as when you are sacked as inevitably you will be, your reputation in the business will be in tatters.
On the plus side you could make some cash in the inevitable employment tribunal

I'm a loyal person and if I got a side promoted id defo stay for another season unless the seeking team were considerably higher in the football pyramid I.e league 2 to championship. Any unknown manager will get a lot of publicity, fans backing and will get their name heard of if they take our job. Good or bad press, its still limelight for managers that nobody has ever heard of I.e Hockaday.

You use Leeds interest to try get yourself better terms where you are then turn to MC and say thanks but no thanks.

At present the Leeds job is something that would only appeal to an out of work or low profile manager or Steve Evans who genuinely wants to carry on.
