Well obviously it's a possibility, but past history makes it seem rather unlikely.

Who knows. Maybe Jose will walk past those statues of Sir Matt, SAF and the Holy Trinity and think to himself 'hell, I want some of that'.
Maybe
Honestly though, I'd say you guys could definitely win the title under him in the next three seasons, equally however I doubt he will be about much longer than that.
Utd is the biggest job in England - that's not meant to be bias, it's just the way it is. You look at the history, from the Busby Babes, the Munich disaster, the Holy Trinity, Fergie, the global appeal, etc, Utd has something about it that no amount of money can give other clubs. Jose has usually had something to move on to, but this is the one job he has always wanted, and there isn't really anything left for him to do club wise. With his ego, he's the type of guy that will want to show he can do something similar to what Fergie did, that what happened at Chelsea was a blip, and really leave a final imprint on the game. That is likely to take a bit longer than 3 years to do, and of course he needs to be successful to stay for longer than that, but if he wants to leave some sort of legacy on the game, a long successful stint at Utd will do that.
Could Jose be settling down?
