Xia's is definitely interested in RDM. Seems there have been more talks with him. Wouldn't rule Pearson out yet though. We don't know RDM will say yes if offered it. We don't know if they're talking to Pearson as well.
Maybe not the best way of doing it. Should have had talks with all three and only then selected one. I'd take any of them. With all of them there's no guarantee that it's going to work out, but I can't say any of them would be a mistake. Moyes and Pearson have probably had more time to think about what players they'd want.
If it's none of them, then it's a different ball game.

Ye, for me Pearson and Moyes were the two stand-out choices, partly because they have proved they can do it at team building, which is what we need. Either would have come in probably with a list of signings they wanted. It's not something Di Matteo has done much of, and this job has come out of the blue for him.
Having said that, he has some good things in his record. On the whole plays attacking football, has promotions to his name, and the only candidate to have won the Champions League, and has other Champions League experience with Shalke. And has his own ideas about where he wants to go; left Shalke because they weren't interested in his plans, he certainly wasn't sacked.
So reckon he's a much better choice than the other candidates mentioned. Might take him longer to build a team and get promoted, but if he comes then I think he has to be given the time.
With Toon keeping Rafa, how do the Villans feel about there being only one other automatic promotion spot up for grabs?
Gonna be hard. Really hard.
