Hulkenberg takes Rosberg on the line. Hamilton within a win of the championship lead now!!
Got to feel for RIC. He woz robbed again. That debrief will be a laugh. "Save it, guys".
Hamilton fkin brilliant race, absolutely superb
First time I think I've seen RIC look angry. Even last week he was ing after being put on the wrong strategy.
No doubt he's also mad at Hamiltons block earlier.
RIC on radio: "Save it. Nothing you can say can make that any better"
RIC: 'Two weekends in a row now I've been screwed'
No mincing...
Now for the Indy 500. Coverage starting in a few moments on BT Sport 1. Race begins at 1715.
To Lewis THE GREATEST DRIVER IN THE HISTORY OF MOTOSPORT!
Superb drive by Hamilton
Superb
RedBull screwed Danny. Again
Pathetic
Rossi is quite good, isn't he?
Wins Indy.
All I can say is wow. What an amazing race! Can we have races like that every week?
The range of tyres has proved it's worth. It was interesting to see 3 soft compounds being used.
Lewis is just a driving master. What an incredible athlete he is.
As for Ric, what a shame, he really didn't deserve that. Is anyone else shocked by the amount of time he extended over Lewis before he pitted. The pit crew really did do him wrong.
All 5 tyre compounds (Wets, Inters, Soft, Super-soft, Ultra-soft) used simultaneously in the race, never happened before.
Nor has switching straight from Wets to softest (dry) compound (which Lewis did) ever happened.
1st (ultra), 2nd (super) and 3rd (soft) place all on different tyres was great, everything and more what I wanted from that race.
The correct tyre choice to be on was undoubtedly the soft (yellow) tyres for final stint though.
Hopefully Baku will be similar with the changeable conditions but not holding my breath.

Onboards.
Bottas on Gutierrez quite funny, needless to say got punished with 10-second penalty.

Test drive around Baku.
Track doesn't look as tricky as I thought for a street circuit, plenty of overtake opportunities from what I can see (especially with F1 car which will carry more speed than that GP3 car).
Maybe when they put proper barriers in, they'll push it closer and more narrow...
Circuit seems too wide.
Oh and the many long straights play right into Merc hands.
Who will be brave enough to take turn 8-11 flat out?
Ferrari can't re-sign Kimi next year, 6 tenths behind Vettel in Montreal is ridiculous.
No problems on the cars as far as I'm aware
He's finished as the once fast driver he was, few years back.

He's definitely seems to have lost a step over the last couple of seasons. But with the lack of testing, his experience will be useful for the team. Also, I'm not sure Sebastian will fancy having a quicker, hungrier teammate!
Hamilton ran Rosberg wide like in Austin last year. He had the line, but a bit pushy! No prisoners I guess since Barcelona!
Red Bull have cost Ricciardo three times today. First by not being stronger with Verstappen who was clearly slowing him down. Second by leaving him out a lap too long in the first stint, trapping him behind Kimi. Third by forgetting how to put a wheel on a car in the second stop.
