I think that Reece Burke will be the better of the two. I want to keep both obviously but then if Oxford is stalling then we should sell him as I only want players who want to play for the shirt
This is definitely true though. He is a genuine ITK and is very reliable. I trust in Slav whatever his decision is
I hope Mourinho uses all the youngsters in the ropey, Oxford included if this is true
I hope Mourinho uses all the youngsters in the ropey

At the very least.
Literally know nothing of the player except that he is highly regarded. Is Reece worth it ?
He had a game vs Arsenal where he had 'Ozil in his pocket' but thats all i know
If his youtube vids are anything to go by I prefer us to stick to our youth.

Meow.
Probably just be as underwhelmed as I was watching those 'highlights'.
Glad that we are trying to add to the youngsters we already have. The future is bright. I think contrary to what some people believe that the youngsters will get plenty of chances
Wow. That's huge chunk of change for a 17 year old
i believe he is a fantastic talent and I want him at utd.
But our priority surely is to get an experienced cb which i am sure jose will do.
Also don't we have mensah, tunzebe, and williams or is reece in a different league compared to these cbs. The reason I ask is if/when jose gets an experienced cb I don't anticipate us rotating cbs much and we already have 3 young cbs already at the club do we need another?

Hardly in his pocket the whole arsenal team was tripe that day and it took 2 gk error for them to score.
Oxford can also play as a holding midfielder as well as centre back, he looked VERY composed and mature in midfield against Arsenal on the opening day, worth buying him, you can never have to many good youngsters IMO.

This myth again. They weren't direct opponents that day. Oxford did play fairly well though.
He looks alright from the little seen of him but £15m is a hell of a lot so he really must be highly thought of.
Crazy think that LVG sold Hernandez for around £7m was it..just crazy !!!

Arsenal were very poor that day.Arsenal havent been great starters recently and in that game I think most decent PL teams could have given them a game.
The one thing I took out of that match was Arsenals lack of closing down. They gave West Ham far,far too much time on the ball.

this is what I am thinking. I have barely seen the lad but i have heard very very good things about him. But we are currently blessed with young talented cbs of similar profile to reece (if he is a s good as claimed).
It will be an unnecessary signing much like when we signed powell and had pogba. The energy and money could have been better spent on keeping pogba, in this case on buying a top top cb and developing the youngsters we already have.
This reeks of the opposite of a Mourinho purchase... Though I guess he was all in for Stones, last season.
He perhaps views him as a defensive CM though again I can see TMF playing there and being a beast of a player. Apparently he sometimes wakes at 2am and goes running !!!!

RB for TFM
Yeah Rb in the immediate future but longer term he will be far too good for that position from what I have seen

I don't understand this view that any given position is more valuable than another.
Football is the perfect team game. If you have weaknesses anywhere, they will be exploited. And a cohesive unit with a strong team-based, selfless work ethic is normally far more valuable in itself than one or two stand out players. Look at Leicester this season.
If TFM's best performances are at RB, he should be playing at RB (which is what we've seen in the U21s).

TFM is a beast of a player and i have not been this excited about a young player since pogba.
Luckily, he is a mourinho type player so i am sure we will see plenty of him
