Drinkwater is sh-te and was an easy option to take when looking at who to drop. Honestly can't believe people are surpirsed.
I still can't believe we're taking Rashford. Donkey of a player in everything bar his finishing. And I'm not blaming that on him being rubbish, blaming it on him being raw and nowhere near ready.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
so so bitter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not really mate, I honestly just believe he's way too raw to be really contribute and think it shows itself up in certain aspects of his game that i don't think are anywhere near developed enough as of yet, particularly his donkey-like first touch.
I'm probably being harsh describing it as donkey-like, but I do believe there's a lot of things that need to be developed in his game before he should be turning out for England.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
because Kane is better through the middle
Exactly Winston, let's hope none of the first 11 get injured. If Dier does who plays centre Mid now? Wheelchair? We saw what happened when he did last week, nothing; yet Drinkwater was motm when he played in that role. Hodgson set him up to fail playing him left of diamond. Wilshere is a good player and those two should have been swapped around in that game and would both give good cover in those positions.
What is the point of taking Sterling and Barkley, both so out of form? Or Rashford for that matter, he's not going to play as there are 4 strikers in front of him!
Townsend is in form and can make something happen, how do they attack around the back now?
Hart
Clyne Smalling Cahill Rose
Dier Wheelchair
Sturridge Alli Sterling
Kane
Vardy, Barkley and Rashford off the bench, as none of them are effective on the wing as they are in their normal positions. But we this is probably Woy's team.
Hart
Walker Smalling Stones Rose
Dier Henderson
Milner Rooney Alli
Kane
Or some stupid sh!t like that.
1 Hart
2 Walker
3 Rose
4 Milner
5 Cahill
6 Smalling
7 Sterling
8 Lallana
9 Kane
10 Rooney
11 Vardy
12 Clyne
13 Forster
14 Horrendouson
15 Sturridge
16 Stones
17 Dier
18 Wilshere
19 Barkley
20 Alli
21 Bertrand
22 Rashford
23 Heaton

theyre not bad players, just depends how they turn up, all are quite hot and cold.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
They're all just OK. Gonna need some solid protection in front of them if the full backs are playign further up the field.
Think Roy will try to shoehorn too many of the forwards into the team and leave it woefully unbalanced.
The Arsenal troll spouts a lot of gobbledygook but i support his salient point that Rashford should stay home.
This is the Euros we are talking about, are we picking international players now based on a stellar three months? Roy is showing himself to be the weakest of managers, kowtowing to the clamour.

But Vardy doesn't play right mid and we are not going to play 3 forwards who don't drop back.

Dier
Alli Wilshere
Rooney
Kane Vardy

The worst part of the Drinkwater exclusion is that it means Rooney is likely to play in midfield
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think he'll be playing behind the two strikers in a diamond formation.
Bizzare cutting Drinkwater, and Henderson and Wilshere go.
Also Townsend is the only left footed attacker England have got. Its not like Sterling and Lallana have been outstanding this season

I have and I'm still not convinced he or his all round play is good enough. Yet.
Where did I say he wouldn't improve? That was implied in my point. That I don't believe he's good enough yet. Way too raw. He may be if he continues to develop at the rate he is, but I don't believe he's ready or worth a place yet when we already have 4 very capable options to fill those striking roles. Owen at 18 played a full season and was joint leading scorer in the league. I'm sorry but Owen at 18 Rashford is not.

Owen had played about 50 EPL games when he went to the 98 WC.
He was young but even his experience dwarves that of Rashford.
I hope Rashford does well but I certainly have sympathy with the view that he's a bit raw.
