Tickets have the purchasers name on them don't they? Let's hope you didn't buy them from Sharon or Emily

Just say they were a present. Doubt it will be an issue anyway.

There will always be cases where a person cant make it or gives it to a family friend. Just say that.

Plus they probably wont even bother. Same process when I went to Stadio Olimpico, no name checks done.

Although, saying that the first question should have been are you muslim and did you buy them off someone with an Arabic name?

but it's kinda true. If you look a bit tanned and the tickets have the name Wee Jimmy McSporran on them, I reckon they might ID you

If the tickets themselves have names on them, prepare to be ID'd.

Goes with the territory with the attacks in Paris.

The way they'd do this is a supplementary check before the walk to the turnstiles.

Out of interest, what match and how much did you pay? What was the face value?

Just be careful as I'm sure the checks will be thorough and the police don't mind a bit of intimidation and a bit of strong arm tactics, as can be seen from the recent strikes.

My mate brought loads of tickets per game all with his name on.

Some how I don't think 4 people with the same name will be expected to turn up.

I think they'd expect one of the party to be named n the tickets.

I travel abroad to watch games every year and I can tell you that unfortunately you will almost certainly get asked for identification at the gate.

Now, usually you could get away with it and personally I'd risk it because I'd rather try than listen to someone telling me No

The issue with this is there is so much more of a threat now thanks to terrorism (ffs) so I just think you'll get asked for ID.

Upto you, like I said, I'd go
