To be fair, our clown of a manager seems to be having trouble persuading Vardy to sign, despite having no competition for his signature

Wouldn't bank on him being able to sign Mkhitaryan given the calibre of teams that would be interested in him.

Vart has till half 11 tomorrow to decide

Mahrez is the jewel of the crown! EVERYTHING necessary must be done to make it happen!!..wouldn't give a feck about missing out on Vardy.

Mkhytarian seems to have foundations to it, though. He had a great season last season but despite his great stats, I don't really rate him.

Are you mad? If we really are after him and the Kicker already run the story of him to leave Dortmund for 35M EURO we must do all to sign him. Absolute brilliant player.

The prospect of signing an Englishman in the form of his life, is just about as exciting as it gets IMO.

It could either lead to a wildly successful couple of seasons, or it could very easily be Davor Suker Mk 2.

Make it happen, Arsene.

You must not have seen much of Mikhitarian if you don't rate him. Currently Dortmund's best player. Creative, but also lethal in front of goal, pacy, direct and intense. He would improve our attack instantly. I actually doubt we'd get him cos I'm sure we'll have a lot of competition across Europe.

Mkhitarian might actually be a better fit than Mahrez. His link-up play is cleverer, his energy and intensity and physicality is greater. There's something about Mahrez' spaghetti legs that that still makes it hard for me to take him seriously.

Solid foundations

Must have been a fax jam that stopped that one happening
