why do people even talk rubbish when their country have never even come close to winning a single world cup..... dont brag on about t20 cause even bangladesh could win it..... Loool your team lost against the so called minnows in ireland and bangladesh..... I think icc should make it compulsory for your team to play a qualifier round againts afghanistan and kenya and canada.....And as far as the world cup is concerned we beat the no. 1 odi team in australia, followed by arch rivals pakistan ( who tend to lose against india in all world cup matches) and finnaly the most competitive team we faced in the world cup( srilanka)..... Our team, whether you like it or not will remain the world champions, and guess what we dont rely on the aging players as our youngsters are doing well.... India can name the playing 11 for world cup 2015 from now as the odi team is not going to change......

lol I have to give this article five stars. I actually did laugh out loud as the saying goes

Why shouldn't we be enjoying ourselves?. It's been a while since we lost and let's enjoy the ride

india odi world champs
england test number 1 and t20 world champs.

Ok t20 doesnt require too much skill but i didnt see india win it, i saw england dominate it. We lost the first game due to duckworth/lewis after posting over 190 which i didnt see the west indies getting. We've just beat you in a test series, sorry dominated you so your mouthing off really does seem silly.

bit of a silly thing to say as we have all seen that injuries can happen at any time

atm india are struggling to name their 11 for a game in 2 days time coz of injuries , let alone 4 years time

The Indian cricket Sehwag bought a bat on hire purchase. Several weeks later, a collector called on him.

'Now listen here,' said the collector, 'you're eight payments behind with your installments.'

'Well,' said Sehwag, -'you advertise Pay as you Play, don't you?' 'So?' 'I play very badly. '!

Now we know the reason and please feel free to replace Sehwag, with Raina, Mukund or Tendulkar

Yes, Tendulkar, Dravid, Zaheer, Sehwag, Harby etc. will definetly be around in 4 years...

England will never and I mean EVER win an ICC world cup with drifters like Cook , Trott and Bell.I dont see many power hitters in the county sides as well so it does look bleak.
Who will the sixes and fours?

Do the Indians do a version of the Haka ?

It would look like a sumo wrestlers convention.

Dravid was never part of our odi team, so i have no idea where that comes from. I mentioned we dont need tendulkar anymore as our team is stronger anyway.....About the other players like sehwag and zaheer khan and bhajji, i advise you to check their age and tell me why thay cant be part of the 2015 world cup. or are you thinking of 2019 wc????

guys its not only because the world cup was held in subcontinent that india won..... They reached finals in south africa where the pitches are suited for pace and are bouncy ..... And guess what the teams then were of better standards of now..... South africa, Newzealand, Pakistan, Australia.... At that time we had a completely new bowling attack that no one even heard of and still we could beat other teams.....So technically we have got the price of our consistancy.... About 2015, the only team I think that looks strong enough is australia as they have a settled odi team and are winning it with young players.... The same goes with India(our odi team is very young and all the series we have played were without tendulkar from 2010....

Khan will NOT play in the 2015 WC. No chance. His non-ipl playing days are numbered unfortunately

hmm interesting. It's 2011 and you know already who the strongest teams will be in 2015. That is pretty amazing, me thinks

Maksi this is the answer i wanted.... Yes so a quick question to you and all other england fans and commentators like vaughan and atherton.....How the hell do you think England will win it????? It might be true, and I would be happy to see england win cause I dont have any problems with the England team but I dislike some english fans.....

posted on 4/9/11

viru, i highly doubt england or india will win it. i reckon an australia vs nz/sa final is on the cards

As of today I doubt think there is a single England fan who expects England to win the next world cup Viju. We have recently been hammered in the World Cup by 10 wickets. Hammered by Australia down under, and if the truth be told, and I stop Wumming, we were taking a good beating 2 days ago by your boys. Michael Vaughan's comments surprise me. We struggle like mad at ODIs so I would like to know where he is getting his optimism from.
We may be good in 4 years, we may not be, but neither him or you could possibly know at this point in time.

fair enough maksi... even I dont have the answer to that question on who will that world cup... Was just saying that or you can say wumming, because I was getting irrated by the way some people are just talking nonsense especially that topdawg.....what though Im looking forward to is the test world cup in 2013 and who will qualify for that

Michael Vaughan was one of the worst one day batmen i can recall.. I still remember when he an another batter who escapes me now. batted in the knock out stages of one world cup against south africa. we were around 17 for 0 in ten overs at the start of the innings.. I'm no big fan of ODI but that game had me pulling my teeth out with a pair of pliers..
