Whitley Bay is a good night out. It's always full of hen and stag doos. Scarborough is the same too.
Whenever I have been to Newcastle for a night out, it's during Magic Weekend so it's been awesome!
Newcastle is lively, London is always a laugh, as is Cardiff.
Been clubbing "a long time ago" in Leeds Birmingham Sheffield Stoke, all top nights.
I miss the hacienda though, some top nights out in the 90's.

London is good but too big and things spread out too far imo.
Liverpool probably is my favourite night out.

Not if you have a target club to end up at... then you just centralise on there and go to a few bars in the vicinity first.

What were you doing in Stoke Loz?
Stoke had some great dance clubs in the late 80's early 90's.
One of the best kept secrets back in the 80's used to be Newark on Trent.
It had the same ratio as women to men as Nottingham, but without being Nottingham.
The Nottingham women/men ratio was a myth.
Or at least it was when I went there, hundreds of out of towner males travelling there reversed the ratio.
Liverpools the best
Glasgow and Edinburgh are good
Manchester is decent if you go to the right places

Newcastle is a great night out.
to be fair, Doncaster used to be amazing for a night out.
not now though
i went to manchester a couple of years ago... ended up in some german pub, standing on tables singing along to men and women playing dodgy accordians and trumpets, all while getting covered in beer by clinking pitchers.
what a fab fecking niaght
Pains me to see it as a Manc but Liverpool is top quality.
Newcastle for me is the best
Manchester is decent although gone downhill slightly from what it used to be
Down south Brighton and Bournemouth were top nights out.

It's full of Bertie mugs
Edinburgh is class, been a few times. If it's s lads night try going the pubic triangle. Good times
TBH you're better off spending £20 and flying to Dublin for the night, much better night out than anything we've to offer.
My general rule is the further north you go, the friendlier people are, and the more they like a drink to go with it.
Off to Brighton in 2 weeks, last time i was there i saw Ice T playing a car racing game in the arcade on the pier....Was very surreal
In this order:
1) Newcastle
2) Manchester
3) Edinburgh
4) Leeds
5) Liverpool
The gap between Newcastle and the rest is intentional. By far and away the best night out in the UK. Also, FYI, Galway in Ireland is a top night out, but not in the UK
I've had a couple of great nights in Liverpool as well. Wouldn't go so far as to say I preferred it to Manchester though!
Glasgow needs a louder shout imo. Much better than Edinburgh imo...though I haven't been back for a good while.
London can be great if you know where to go. Still hate the place in general though.
