Kane hasn't got a clue at this level. One of the most useless England strikers I've ever seen

Yes I vote 1.
Also Alli was annoying me. He just kept on the ball for far too long and ran into trouble time and time again.

Kane = a poor mans Giroud

Sterling is complete shiiite.

Kane probably would have fared better with the changes Hodgson made in the second half, playing with Vardy or Sturridge, but I can't exactly complain that he was taken off.

I feel sorry for him. I think he might just be knackered.

Kane has played non stop the last two seasons as there is no rotation option for him at Spurs. He also did not have last summer off as he went to the u21 tournament so no surprise he looks burnt out.

Vardy and Sturridge look fresher and should start the next game. England are still looking for the right balance though and the last time the team looked right was the one against Germany a few months back.

Galv

Who Kane??

To be honest, he looked a bit more like himself first 5-10 minutes, then he sort of turned anonymous. Not all his fault though.

From todays starting line up I would drop Walker, Lallana, Sterling and Alli for being poncy trick and flick boys with no real end product and Kane for being crap.

Walkers final ball is poor. Too many crosses that very poor. If he can improve that part of his game maybe, but at themoment he looks good and then facks it up. You are mistaking running with the ball as being an effective player, which he isnt.

Lallana is similar, but being a Liverpool supporter you look at him with rose tinted glasses. He's ok, but not good enough to be a starter for England. I've just checked his stats and in 2 games he's made 2 chances, 4 tackles and has a pass rate lower than average and 0 open play crosses. The only good stat is pass accuracy at 88% which drops to 80% in the opposition half.

You like so many others seem to judge players on what skillz they can do rather then their end product and effectiveness.

This level? So playing Wales and Russia on neutral territory are a higher level of opposition than Arsenal at the Emirates or Liverpool at Anfield?

You absolute clueless mess.

How Walker got MOTM I'll never know. After the first 15 minutes his runs were so predictable. I began to wonder if he is unable to cross a ball with his left foot or he was simply inept.

I wish you Spur's boys would stop with the OTT sympathy and excuses for Kane. He's played crap both games, and has hit a spell of bad form, simple as that. Doesn't deserve his place in the team at the moment, and no matter how we change things, that won't change.

I rate him so it's not a witch hunt, I'm sure he'll bounce back, but this just isn't going to be his tournament.

I'd like to see Kane start but with different players around him. I think he deserves that much.

Let's face it, Sturridge was having a fairly poor game too until the goal.

And yet he got into threatening positions more often in those 45 minutes than Kane has done in 135 minutes

Helped that he wasn't being asked to take corners.

They should NOT start....
Vardy and Sturridge should.
Better movement and a lot more chances created.
