Are you actually likely to sign either of those players?

It's been a poor tournament so far. Everyone looks so knackered and I think it's got to the point where players give their all for the CL more than they do for the Euros. That's not to say players don't care about the euros because it's obvious they do - Ronaldo cares too much - but I think a lot of players arrive at summer tournaments too knackered to give their all.

Griezmann plays for a side who give 110% every game they play at club level. The guy isn't gonna show what he really has this summer Imo because he physically can't

No one has really stood out in the whole competition. Also those that do in major tournaments aren't always the best players. I think it's pretty hard to really gauge the quality of a player in these tournaments, especially only after 2-3 games. Plenty of teams that win these things only get going from the knockout rounds too.

We're Man United, we sign who we want

Except Ronaldinho, Ozil, Sneijder, Batistuta

Both players will do well for Carrington FC.

Honestly if you were to mark the Euros out of 10,at this time, where would you rate it ?

I'll give it a 4 out the moment.
Been a dreadfull tournament.

5/10 - Been impressed with how much the lesser nations have caught the dominant ones up i.e Poland, Switzerland, Albania, England, Wales. Apart from the Spain games, all games have been very competitive.

I haven't seen too much football so far but its been lesser nations that have stood out to me so far. So Hamsik from Slovakia has impressed me on an individual level, thats a player you would do well to look at.

Been saying it for ages, when you play in midfield with Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio et al. Life is a lot easier

Not convinced the lad will work in a midfield 2

I'd give it a 6/10 purely for the late goals we've been having.

6/10 for me as well.

I actually wonder if the (generally) very high quality of officiating has led to less excitement/controversy/indignant rage.

One disappointing thing is that I thought the new format might mean more teams taking risks in their first game, knowing they could still go through in third. That didn't really happen.

That tournament has been okay for me, nothing more, I'd go for a 5.5/6 outta 10.

The really tense stuff will happen this week though, teams getting knocked out, hopefully risking it all to stay in the tournament then we have the knock-outs.

I've watched all the home nations games (including ROI in that too) which has given it an extra edge for me personally, I want them all to do well.

As for France, Payet has been their stand-out player, I didn't buy into the hype about their "great" sqaud before the tournament and they haven't shown anything special since it all kicked off, I do want them to go on to the semi's at least though, it's always good when the hosts do well IMO.

Manu52- Yeah my grandfather was a bit of a villain. Came back from Burma with nothing so why not?

He had all the 'luxuries' mentioned because he was thieving. Maybe not a dishwasher (I don't know) but he didn't live the miserable life that Sandy was describing.
