A years loan would take him to turned of his contract so a permanent deal would make sense
What did you guys think of Ball? Can he make the step up to premier league?

he was decent for us, badly missed in the SC final
was superb vs them in the semi
not sure he'd be good enough for Spurs long term.

I think another year at Rangers would do him the world of good and suit all concerned.
He wont be near our squad, and he is settled at a huge club, playing in high pressure games with big crowds.
A modest sale, with a cut of a future transfer fee, would probably suit all if a permanent move is thought best
Im hoping Rangers take another one or two on loan, I like Warburton and the 'philosophy' (sorry) seems to overlap.
Good luck next year anyhow, great for Scotland to have you back......even the Bhoys will grudgingly agree

David Weir "Obviously Dom Ball has gone back so we are light in numbers in that position, and Clint will come in and compete for a place"
Ball has been replaced by Hill.

Ball played most of his games in midfield last season
also, Rangers were told that they will need to wait for spurs to return to pre season before any decision is made
No point arguing with me about it. If big Davie says he's gone back then he's gone back.
lol im not arguing, most loan players return to parent at end of season
we have been told to wait until spurs pre season starts back before they will make a decision on wether he can join us again
Ffs
Player on loan returns to parent club shocker
Are you a parody account like Timmy Irvine?
I wouldn't sell him just yet, loan him for another season to Rangers and then see.
Weir made it sound quite final
Maybe you guys have better sources than him.
""Obviously Dom Ball has gone back so we are light in numbers in that position, and Clint will come in and compete for a place""
Sir Davie is just saying we lost one defender and got another in.
I don't read it as one or the other.
Infact we are now in talks with the crystal palace defender.
No better sources, just an ability to read!

you'd need to offer him a new deal to do that.
We are in the market for at least one more defender. No reason that couldn't still be ball if he was offered to us
Warburtons mates with our head of youth development (I forget his new title) John McDermott we have a small affiliation with rangers. Hence why your first team and youth team always pop down to our training ground for a game and to use the facilities.
Think we played you six times last year behind closed doors.
Wouldnt surprised to see you sign Alex Prichard on loan.
last I heard Dom was being loaned to the championship. Doms successfully turned himself from a defensive midfielder to a centre back. He was put there cos we had no one else it wasn't pre-planned. But looks to now be carving himself out a name which is great news. Fantastic reports from a few youth England coaches.
I like spurs, happy to have this link up, appears to be beneficial to both clubs
I would love Pritchard on loan but cant see it happening, my guess is he could easily get a bottom half PL side
