J K Boots biggest fan............... but not mine................ so i won't comment.
our time will come maybe in 2015.
IF DEAN DEEMS that this IS To BE Our Promotion Season and I'm not Convinced, no matter what hype is put out, that he has done that so far as i feel he's been steadily, readying the club and its infrastructure ~ Then believe me when I say ..
HE CAN AND WILL MAKE/FORCE THAT TO HAPPEN ..
Whilst Man City with money might have taken a little while to achieve .. BIG MONEY at this level cannot fail ~ So I say again Its up to Dean .. and the bookies must've sniffed his desire & commitment to make it happen, at any cost, this time .. ~ ~
Dean " Deemed " it to be our promotion seasonlast season, and what did we achieve??? Naff all. Dean needs to get rid now, while its still early enough for a decent manager to sort us out !! CLARK OUT
I remain unconvinced (despite all the hype, soundbites and rhetoric) that Dean Felt Our Club really ready for promotion Certainly managerwise there are still massive questionmarks and anyone STILL thinking otherwise needs a short course of Truth Pills .. Thats not to say I don't accept the several posters viewpoints who feel given time he'll get there .. I just feel unable to bear another failed quest .. Particularly if it meant we're to be fed that awful unbeaten run style of football ..
Don't take my remarks on Dean The Wrong Way .. Of Course he would've taken promotion and the income streams that that would've accrued ~ But To Do Reasonably Well In Champ Football will require BIG Expend and like the rest of us he must harbour some doubts as to his managers ability to sustain ..
Will he be extending Clarks Contract ANY Day now .. ? ..
Well all his outpourings suggest YES ~ But hey as they say Footballs a funny ole game ~ & hey perhaps thats another thread ..

How g.a.y is that , I bet he makes you cringe don't he boots ?
Whilst I full agree with you Boots that money will near enough guarantee you success I also feel he has been burnt somewhat in what he has already spent.
For example and its only a guesstimate but the cost of Simpson, Robinson, Ainsworth, Lee & Arfield (who hasnt produced for me) including wages must be in excess of 1.75 million and we certainly dont know how much of that has been re-couped.
That alone puts DH in a quandary in my opinion because he shouldnt be having to turn these players over after such a short time at the club. Clark for me has spent well in the acquisition of some players but awful in others so its all about risk management and who you trust to spend the cash....??
The projected profit from some of Clarks blossoming players is good and I applaud that but serious questions need to be asked when bringing some players in. If you add up the starting appearances of Theo, Simpson, Ainsworth & Lee I dont think they have completed a full season between them which is appalling for what were banded as top signings. Yes their performances and attitudes cannot be all put down to LC but you have to wonder who does the investigating when buying such players.
In short I genuinely think you have a point Boots becuase I feel as a fan that if DH trusted Clark more with his money there would be no question of making that one 'sit-up and take notice' signing(s)
i bet jkbbf lives in boots's underpants nom nom nom
what are the odds on that? dead cert in my opinion!
hate to say it again..
kp, rumours abound within the club..
aligned with james beattie after rhodes is moved on to watford..
big man small man routine..
just wages to consider.. short term contracts...
dont blame me, just what came out of the club..
Surely you are all missing the point here on money being wasted!
The club needed major investment on,
A, The First Team
B, The Training Facilities
C, Back Office Staff bringing more revenue in.
Look at Man City and how much they have spent! They invested huge sums on players and have only just started to deliver and not all signings have been a success! Naming the players which you think have failed is a little poor sometimes , as all you have to do is pick a programme up from 3-4 years ago and see how much things have changed!
Trust Sir Dean
KP rumoured to be coming to Hudds... !!!
And in other breaking news....
Nasri could leave Arsenal...
CMS considers his future at P'Borough...
Giggs plays away...
I full agree with you Inter and no I maybe shouldnt of singled out players. My point is mainly that I think DH would of made a signing(s) of intent more freely if some success had come out of his previous outlays...
From a personal point of view and like stated in my post I applaud some of the talent we have discovered but for me thats buying potential which you need but I just feel that one ot two signings that are already are established and ones who will deliver are what we or do need !
For example so far we have signed how many strikers under LC ? 8 or 9 ?
None came with proven goal scoring pedigrees and only one has delivered so maybe a little less on the what of been and more of what will be was in order for me..
*** None came with proven goal scoring pedigrees and only one has delivered so maybe a little less on the 'what might of been' and more of 'what will be' was in order for me..
i am aware of all the previous phillips stuff..
i believe it is an option being considered at this time, thats all..
involves wages for a year, no fees..
but it does mean moving rhodes on and using that money to finance it..
as i say, its under consideration only..
if we cant find a striker to buy, it makes sense , no long contracts and the chance to bring someone in of the right quality, immediately if promotion is achieved..
its just an option open to the club at this moment..
Hey ups 38 hows tricks mate ?
Cody McDonald has been rumoured within good circles and is a well thought of player by Norwich
Not having a go at you Kindo you know that mate, we all want the same thing from Hudds Town!
All these strikers getting linked again, but I dont know if a I fancy Beattie at this stage! Get the little man in either KP or McDonald then play to Lee strengths (if he still has some)
we are up against very stiff competition for some of the younger players... after the last couple of years its becoming obvious that we wont be able to if it involves fees and wages..
getting out of this league is paramount and having a set wage bill for one season seems better sense than having too many contracts running for too long if we do/dont get promotion this year..
if we bring in experience on short term deals and they do very well you can always extend, its difficult to get rid if they dont and you dont get success.. i give you alan lee, joey g...
promotion would cover a slightly bigger wage bill for one season.
its worth considering, anyway...

I can't help thinking its gonna be MORE LOANS than Outright purchases i.e. More of the same ..
Tbf it does seem the modern way .. and yet where on Gods Earth is the real true commitment to the Club Cause in that
The way we've used Loan Signings has been embarrassing at times .. If nothing else this really has to be sorted .. Personally I think there's room for a ruling on ~ if you loan a player In/Out he should be guaranteed at least some Games or Gametime ..
Surely any agent worth his salt would now be writing this into any such signing, Particularly if their on their way to town ..
Is that a dig at Mr Clarke Bootsie? That central defender who never got a look in?
There were others Wethers .. But let me tell you what we must try and avoid ..
The last thing we need is for this to be a Clark Out site and i'm missing the counter argument viewpoints of Wakey Mirf Osset, Marco, etc .. as these provide insight & balance into how others are thinking and why ..
Are they on holiday ..
I'm genuinelly toying with the idea of a Temporary 'Clark In' Campaign just to get things fired up a bit .. ~ ~
