Im not too disappointed with this NY I wasnt convinced by his defending and his aerial ability eapecially for his size. Shame a player has dropped from the premier league down the leagues and now into the 2nd tier of scottish football.
I am not disappointed at all Azza, just posting the information for those who would not see it otherwise.
Now for Main, Stuckmann and others to make room with their wages for more new players.
Rovers to play Forest at Home in the Capital One Cup.
Also the first League game is away at Accrington.
Notts County away boxing day. Followed my Mansfield away on new years eve. Then finish season away at the old monkey hangers
Hopefully the season will be over long before the Monkey Hangers, Zigger.
Compared to Sinclair he was Alan Hansen
I see that Paul Wilson (Academy Manager) has left the club now. If he has left of his own accord, possibly for better things, perhaps we can just note it, but if he has been dismissed, this is indeed evidence of further directional change with Ferguson and Baldwin, possibly backed by Watson Junior behind it all.
The changes we have seen in the personnel since the 2015-16 season closed has appeared to have been more radical than for a long time. Obviously dropping to the basement has been one trigger for a re-think, but those in charge now are clearly not content to just make adjustments around the edges. In not appointing a permanent manager after Saunders left and in installing a somewhat risk-averse figure like Dickov you could say that we have rather drifted ever since.
Whatever happens next year will be clearly referable to those currently in charge; we know exactly where the buck has stopped.
Dickov and SoD to team up to manage Oldham.
I see we've signed Bolton 19 y-o Tyler Garrett, an unpopular decision in the view of established Bolton blogger Lion of Vienna http://lionofviennasuite.sbnation.com/2016/6/28/12052540/tyler-garratt-sold-to-doncaster-rovers.
"The 19 year old left back had broken through under Jimmy Phillips last year and had looked like he'd be an asset in our League 1 campaign this year. It must be noted he did only make 3 appearances but he did impress in that short spell."
Another young promising youngster to add to Fergies team. Looking like it's coming together nicely. I'm sure GB said last week we had no more players lined up but, were just waiting to see about bringing in loan players.
Something tells me we could be in for a hell of a season if these players gell. 👍
