Ethiogunner's top 10 all time managers

1. Arsene Wenger. ( He ranked above all managers because he is the only manager in the English, if not in the world football history, to go through an entire season undefeated. (2004)

Arsenal lost 6 games that season, and won the League.

5 years earlier, Man United played more games, lost 6, and won The Treble

Wenger may well be top of the list..

BUT

I'd like to see where he'd finish if he spent 100 million every year like the rest of the competition.

Lets see how clever he'd look then!

Before one enters into this debate do remember that the article you are tempted to comment upon is the opinion of a known gooner wum.

Think about it - how can the opinion of anyone that supports the goons be taken seriously.

Wenger isn't good enough to lace Bill Nicholson's boots.

It most certainly is NOT Alex Ferguson.... 25 years at one of the Worlds biggest and richest clubs and he has a measily 2 Champions League winners medals. This is ultimately what will stop him IMO from being considered a World great.... even domestically hes only in the top 3.

-------------------------

He's the best domestic manager IMO. Difficult to compare managers from different countries but he's up with the best.

Hahahaha. Yes, Wenger is the greatest manager of them all.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why is it so funny?

He did win Manager of the Decade over all the other managers.

Bet you feel silly now

Wenger is a great manager and to finish fourth and be close to beating Barca over two legs, considering the money he's spent is a fine achievement.
The top managers though rated on their trophy count and Wenger is falling behind the rest.

Arsene Wenger hasn't won anything in 6 years. He is not the best manager.

Carlo Ancelotti won the domestic cup double in his first season at Chelsea and Chelsea are the first premier league outfit to score 100 league goals in premier league history. Ancelotti broke lots of records in his first season in English football like becoming the second over seas manager to win the premier league title in his first season in Engand after Mourinho.

Sir Alex Ferguson is obviously the best manager in the world. Mournho is 2nd and Carlo Ancelotti is 3rd.

But as a Chelsea fan Carlo Ancelotti is the best manager.

If you had said here are 10 managers from the top 100 ever you might of not seemed a little bit more delusional then you can say and Harry Redknapp isn't in the top 100 or something a long those lines, WUMs are rubbish nowadays, bring back the classic 606er's they actually got a few laughs!!

Carlo has to be in the running for best manager. He achieved greatness at milan then the double in his first year at chelsea. I also think he would have got chelsea the CL they crave if it were not for a certain power crazy owner.

as for wenger , gud manager not a great.

Why is "Alex Ferguson obviously the best manager in the world" ????? in England YES you could say that...maybe! BUT in the WORLD...quite clearly no as he has only won 2 champions league in a whopping 25 years at one of the worlds richest clubs

Bill Nicholson won TWO league titles as player and manager(together).

First, and only, English manager to win the post-war double.

First Englishman to manage the first English side to win a European trophy.

First Englishman to manage the first English side to win 2 European trophies.

Thinking about it you're right; not only is Wenger not good enough to lace Bill Nicholson's boots he's not good enough to even share the same planet as Bill Nicholson.

what are the so called mods doing on my article?

I presume this is a list for mere mortals?

Hence the exception of Brian Clough - he would have some strong words about Wenger being #1 on your list. Something to do with league titles and European cups.

Bob Paisely and Bill Shankly ommitted whilst Benitez and Cruyff make the list?

Must try harder. D-
