You understand you're still in the EU right?

You won't see any real disadvantages/advantages until you leave.

Aston Martin have announced a new 200 million pound project today
...

Today being February?

Not bad as Auston Martin are going to invest another 200mil knowing we are leaving the EU for sure

If you're happy about the leave vote then fair enough but your still in the EU for the next 2 years. It'll be 3 before Britain sees whether it was the right thing to do or not.

It's not about feeling happy or unhappy now..It's done, you can't rewind the clock.

I know. I don't even care which way you voted I'm from NZ. I'm just pointing out that saying "Oooh the markets are fine" doesn't mean jack as your still in the EU and it won't be until a period of time after you leave before you will see any advantages or disadvantages from it.

Aston Martin have announced a new 200 million pound project today

- announced in February saan, where have you been?

And Boeing have confirmed there head office will be in the uk

- Boeing, as well as Aston Martin have a fairly captive market. If you're going to buy an Aston Martin, you'll buy one, even if it's £2k more. Same as Boeing, if you're going to buy a Dreamliner, you buy Boeing, if you want an A380, you buy Airbus.

If you want to see effect of leaving the EU it will be when there is a decision on investment that concerns real mass market products / services.

You are aware that those Aston Martin reports are from February right?

And the Boeng 'Brexit Boost' is from March?

But don't let the facts put you off your racist / xenophobic agenda.

And before any of the leave apologists come to muffle's defence. That statement about Scotland is at best xenophobic and at worst racist.

Explain to me ABU how the EU is crumbling?

France just took over your 5th largest economy place this very weekend.

Even Spain has a higher GDP than the UK currently

The six founder members have, in the last two days, recommitted to each other. 21 other countries want a bit of that, too.

The EU already has 64 trade deals in place - the UK has none

Add up all the structural debt in the 27 EU countries and you'll reach a figure less than 37% of the colossal UK structural debt. Good luck with trading out of that.

Exactly. People keep looking at the market on the daily basis at this stage is just pointless.
Until the negotiationa star, we won't see the real effect.

If all the "leave" voters are Farage, why they didn't vote for his party in the General Election?

We are all wasting our time on discussing on failed(will soon fail) organization like EU.

Boris also said that £350m extra will be spent on the NHS.

I'd take his views with a pinch of salt.

Serious question for Scottish people who wants to join EU and leave England?

What would you gain from the EU? You can't even fish without their permission ffs

----------------------------------------------------------------------

That's honestly a serious question? Wow.

Well...to start....

Freedom of movement. Scotland needs immigration to sustain itself.

Investment in infrastructure projects. The UK government contributes nothing to our infrastructure projects (whereas Scottish tax money is used for, ahem, UK projects like various road and rail constructions in England). The A9 upgrade for example, duelling the most dangerous road in the country, is only possible due to a combination of Scottish tax payers money and EU funding.

Science funding - I'm from Dundee, which has a strong bio-chemist industry. The funding we receive from the EU is critical and I fear for the industry without it.

Renewable investment - the British government is against renewables, as seen by funding cuts and selling our souls..I mean energy plans to the Chinese. With EU backing Scotland can become a world leader in renewable energy, thus moving us on from any reliance on oil money.

Would you like me to keep going?

Maf, shifting the focus away from markets on the other side of the world to the one in London which we should have most consideration for..

Can you advise how financial stocks are faring today?

RBS shares have been suspended as it has falled by 14%.

It's majority owned by the taxpayer.

posted on 27/6/16

I'm just shocked the British government handed over such a monumental decision to the public, this is exactly why you have elected official. Because a lot of people don't actually completely understand this stuff and are easily led, as demonstrated.

The leave campaign to "take back our country" is at heart no real different to trumps "make America great again", yet the same people being led up the path with this slogan are laughing at America for supporting trump.

The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

Maf? How did you miss this off your article?

Agree that there’s no point looking at markets as they simply reflect the uncertainty of the current situation. They may recover.

However it is now clear there was no exit plan, and the “promises” made by the Leave campaign were simply “possibilities” with no pledge of being implemented.

Immigration will be totally unaffected which is the fundamental reason why millions decided to vote leave.

The turkeys have voted for Christmas...

Absolute garbage reasoning...

You need immigration only from the Balkan countries? Not from Australia, Canada or NZ or from rest of the world?

Do you know at what price you have to charge for Kwh to balance the books if the energy is obtained from the sources you quoted? You don't know..
