It doesn't matter who the other 10 players are, but if (as predicted) he recalls Sterling, he should be sacked on the spot.
Same for Wilshere. How many times do we have to select unfit / out-of-form players (and actually put them in the team), Hodgson is a sick joke.
Nobody is playing balls into the box(apart from crosses) hence why sturridge keeps dropping deep to collect the ball and trying to pass and move into the final third, if the team/midfield would do it he probably wouldnt keep dropping so much
Hart
Walker Smalling Cahill Rose
Lallana Dier Rooney Alli
Sturridge Kane
IMO
---------------Hart
Walker---Smalling---Cahill---Rose
---------------Dier
--Sturridge--Alli--Lallana
--------Rooney--Kane
It doesn't matter who the other players are. 5 Spurs players and the match being televised on ITV, we're fecked
Joe hart has some work to do to match some of the great saves over this weekend!
The England checklist:
- England dominating possession
- Hart having a flappy moment when under no pressure
- Majority of best chances falling to players who you'd least want them to fall to i.e. Lallana, Henderson, Sterling
- Lallana hitting his shot at the keeper or wide, every time
- Walker and Rose doing great work on the flanks only to then end up putting in an under or overhit delivery
- Kane greedily taking shots from distance that don't test the keeper
- Sturridge greedily taking shots from distance that don't test the keeper
- Three rubbish corners for every one good one
- A better first half than second half
- Any point when you feel England are doing well, will be dashed quickly, and painfully
Let's see how many we can tick off tonight.

Bertrand did ok in his showing
He was really poor imo. Shame Clyne or walker aren't left footed

You need to add
- Somebody getting sent off for something stupid.
- Playing heroically in extra time but not scoring.
- Having a goal disallowed for virtually little reason.
- Getting knocked out in a penalty shootout.

Agreed.
Not sure though, which is the most negative factor going into this match....
* Having Woy as manager =
* Sterling starting =
* 5 x Spurs players starting =
* Wilshere being allowed on the pitch =
* It being on ITV =
Be afraid, be very afraid....
- Getting knocked out in a penalty shootout.
I reckon this is likely in the next game should we get through.

Fackin hope notI'd like him to be veddy veddy bored thanks.
Let's face it, he's more interested in his hair and fackin about to learn how to kick a ball let a lone save one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So long as he's not half-asleep like when Bale scored. That was a crap attempt at a save. Maybe he got a mate to drop in to Paddy Powers to put a monkey on Bale getting the first goal (or should that be a monkey scoring the first goal)?
Why have ITV had 3 out of 4 England games?

ITV always get the 5hit games
Another factor to add (mainly because that's how Liverpool play) .
* giving away a pointless free kick near the 18 yard box, within 3 minutes of half time or the final whistle.
Jeez we're a cheery bunch are we not

I always thought they shared the England games equally, so whether BBC will get the next 2 or not. If they do they really lucked out with that deal, getting games with England in the latter stages.

I fancy us to absolutely smash them tonight.
