Redknapp is the only English manager who has anything remotely successful to put on his CV in the last 10 years. Possibly the best of a bad bunch.

England need a young forward thinking manager. I still think Rodgers would be perfect. None of this defensive gash. Get players passing and moving at pace. The defence is crap anyhow so no point concentrating on that.

Rodgers is clueless tactical. Ask most Liverpool fans !!

Rodgers would be a good choice though you shouldn't even entertain a non Englishman.

Supposed to be a national effort so appointing foreigners is a joke to be honest.

I would tend to agree with this, only it's looking like England/Britain need foreign influence to be any good at anything because we're so crap ourselves i.e. Eddie Jones with the rugby, Trevor Bayliss with the cricket, Lendl with Andy Murray,

If I was to go the English route it would be Redknapp, with maybe Rodgers as assistant. Isn't that who Harry said he'd bring in if he was England manager? Unless he said that regarding Spurs.

Harry is the only one who comes close to being successful in the last 10 years, with his spells at Portsmouth and Spurs.

I think a majority would agree that redknapp should have been given the reins at some point but he burnt a lot of bridges with the fa I guess.

Harry Rednapp will be a disaster. We need tactically astute manager.
