you know what, i doubt this is true as he had barely half a season there, but if he continues in the same vain, I think it may be chelsea's decision and not fernandos

is he playing for a move do you think?

Still bitter Fernando left you for bigger and better things I see.

I feel sorry for Torres personally in that he doesn't seem to be enjoying his football and hasn't for a long long time. Going to Chelsea made no difference to his game so any finger pointing about how Liverpool weren'tproviding him with other quality players to play with looks more and more like an excuse for someone who just seems to have lost his mojo. Maybe it's back in Spain but it certainly isn't in the PL!!

Yes Bubbles, you are absolutely right, yet again!! I mean, gosh, you are never wrong. And Torres has played blindingly, hasn't he. So blindlingly that he must have enhanced his value, but scoring, what, one whole goal in only twenty games?? The sad fact is that, since his injury in 2009, he simply hasn't been the same player, either at team or international level. Thats not Chelsea's fault, its reality. Here's a question you will undoubtedly have no problem in answering: What with his current form, which other top four club would have him as their star striker?? I agree. Unfortunately there are a lot of people complaining about the intelligence level of the Liverpool board, due to the growing number of WUM's attacking it and forcing members to contemplate leaving the site, which includes myself.

However some of these people are either encouraging WUM's by writing an article about them, as evidenced in this thread and some are being hypocritical by 'WUM'ing themselves.

The site is turning into a playground where everybody argues and the mention of a name, for example Andy Carroll, brings around a laugh smiley.

He's played CL football alongside great players and got as close to winning the title as he ever has done in the past.

If you find a site with a decent debate other than the increasing amount of well spam posted on this board, then let us know.

You've usually got some interesting points and I'd much prefer to have a debate with fellow reds fans, whether or not we agree or not, than a lot of the kids that seem to flock to this board to sprout nonsense.

Has there been a more celebrated 2nd place finish than this one?

Was there an open top bus parade for this by the way?

Of course, wasn't there a consensus that if chelsea wanted a player, that there was the custom of just adding a zero on for their gratification.

In this case it was Torres that was added the zero... he did used to be a goal every 2 games striker.

You sorted out your team for this week?

Mr Chelsea

I was just pointing out the facts that Torres has played CL football with great players (ok some not so great too) and that we finished closer to Utd when Torres was with us than now with you.

I certainly was not celebrating finishing 2nd in any way shape or form. I was angry that we only finished 2nd and cursed the stupid defeat to boro and the countless draws that cost us winning it. FACT!!!

How true is this?

It's impossible to know, but it's probably bs.

However, if he continues to under perform so horrendously then Abramovich will ditch him faster than a manager with no CL trophy.

I haven't but the attitude and application of dzeko has given me something to think about.... basically as he won't replicate it maybe its time for... Balotelli??

I don't get these Liverpool fans.

The most recent games against Liverpool were both losses home and away. They recently spent £50m on a Liverpool stiker, who has been a complete waste. They are currently behind Liverpool after unconvincing wins against West Brom and Norwich.

Chelsea have a net spent of over £100m in the last two transfer window, and Liverpool's is £30m.
