Its Wenger youre talking about so the day after the transfer woindow closes he will say we tried to get a striker but ran out of time.
Watching the EUROs it's not hard to understand why finding a decent striker is proving to be so difficult.
Or defenders.
When did all the good footballers decide they wanted to be midfielders?
Bunch of weirdos.
There are rumours the Goonz have had a £35m bid accepted for Troy Deeney

The Spudz have outbid us with £40m
To be honest I am getting slightly worried by the lack of transfer talk. Chelsea don't even need a CF and they got the Belgium guy who looks pretty decent.
We just know Wenger done in the transfer window. Instead of making us wait until deadline day he's signs players in the first few weeks and then does fack all.
Wenger has got his usual mf for the summer
Wait until the last few days of the transfer window before we contemplate buying another player
If this was a normal club you shouldn't be worried, it's not even July and major Tournaments are either still going or have only just finished.
All that said, Arsenal never have a transfer strategy. At best it's wait until we're offered a decent player at a cut price and at worst it's replace RVP with Sanago and Giroud
I also don't understand why Chelsea haven't sold anyone yet. I expected 5 key players of there's to leave!

Why?
They finished 10th no European football. Why on earth would there players be satisfied with that? Hazard was also 90% certain to leave all season and now has a bloody change of heart!
Players tend to accept one bad season, though. Don't forget they were PL champs the season before.
They are greedy prickkkks and should just bloody leave!
Wouldn't that make them worse, though? Jumping ship to earn more money rather than stay and clean up the mess they made?
Don't think they have that many desirable players, anyway, only Hazard
I want to see Chelsea crumble further and further. If the likes of Hazard, Fabregas, Costa, Oscar and few others would leave which I believe they should then it would be tough for them to find decent replacements.
Doubt we'll see anything until deadline day now

That would only happen to us mate.
Sunday Mirror had a paragraph about us being interested in Lacazete.
Never seen him play but have heard him mentioned here.
Would he be an acceptable shout for a striker, and who could be a possibility in central defence.
To satisfy dim witted fans, arsenal should time their signings. Sign too early in the window as we did with sanchez ospina debuchy and Chambers then the fans lose patience in the gap between signings as they did that year. This was despite the fact we made a decent deadline day signing
We literally need to sign a player at equal intervals during the window. I reckon three weeks is the maximum gap between signing players that will keep the simple minded types satisfied.
FFS you gooners are never happy.
You've got a striker (welbs) coming back soon. Don't be greedy.
If you want one in the interim, LFC have a couple spare if you really can't wait.
Special offer this window only, buy 1 get the other full price. Both national teams currently still in the Euros so values will be going up. Take both for £70m. A bargain in today's climate.
Balotelli & Benteke. They even sound like a strike partnership. So what you waiting for?
