You seem to be forgetting the Rooney Conundrum.
Both put in the best displays for their club last season from the right flank according to WhoScored.com’s statistical ratings. The Dortmund man started 16 league games from that side of the pitch, scoring seven of his 11 goals to earn a rating of 8.20 in said appearances – up from an already league-high average of 7.90.
We are also lacking wide right...

he may have started 16 games from there but a quick vid on youtube shows that most of his goals and assists came from the left and center
very few of either come from a right wing position
Saying he started on the right for Dortmund doesn't tell the full story ... him and Reus constantly switch... and with Auba they have a very mobile front 3... us not so much.
The Rooney factor limits us a bit... he'll either be on the right in a 4-2-3-1 with Rooney at 10... or on the right of a front 3 in a 4-3-3 with Rooney in midfield.
He's a good signing... and good on the right... but I worry it'll be a bit Mata/Kagawa... and not getting the best out of him to accommodate Sir Wayne
Feck Rooney is rather Herrera at number ten and Mkhi right or a new player for the right side. Mourinho dropped Terry and Casillas. I don't know why people think it's so unfathomable that he might drop Rooney.
Not for those decisions you obtuse idiot
Oh well that bodes well then.
If we play 433 (which we may) he cant play central
If we play 4231 (most likely), he prefers and played his best football on the right hand side. We also desperately need pace out wide to get the most out of Ibra so its a no brainer really
I know we shouldn't wish injury on Rooney, or should we?
