Payet has been very poor since the group stages to be fair. Started well but has regressed in his last 3 games to the point he maybe shouldn't start against Portugal.

Other than Griezmann I'd say Nani, Ramsey and Bonucci have been very good

Ramsey. And not just because I'm Welsh. Payed started really well, but faded. I think this tournament will be remembered about the big players that simply didn't turn up like Muller and Ronaldo and Hazard to a degree. That, and the small nations that did well like Wales and Iceland.

Florenzi played well down the right when I saw him for Italy.
Krychowiak has been one of the better cm's.
Payet has been either outstanding or anonymous.
Pepe, Pazdan of Poland and a couple of the Italy CB's have probably been the better CB's.
Nani has been quite busy for Portugal, always involved in anything good they've done attacking wise.

Nani has been the best attacker if not the best player for Portugal in this tournament. His goals and assists have been crucial for Portugal getting to the final

Definitely their best attacking player. Pepe been their best player.

As much as I like Bale I don't think he has been particularly good tbh, his tournament stats have been padded out thanks to some awful goalkeeping and a Gareth McAuley own goal.

I've actually be impressed with Jerome Boateng, I thought the was just good on the ball but he has, generally, defended pretty well.

Same with Pepe, I think he's been excellent actually, and has showed that when he cuts out the the nonsense he's a really good defender. Kante was unfortunate to lose his place as he was solid for France, plays that DM position so well.

This may be controversial, but i'm not 100% sold Manuel Neuer, he's very good, of course, but I've seen him make so many silly, basic mistakes for Bayern and for Germany. I don't think he's the best in the world tbh, I'd take DDG all day over him, or Buffon.

Matuidi has been a real unsung hero for France, gives the flair players a platform to strut their stuff.

Would be very happy with him if Pogba doesn't sign.

I hate to say it, but Borini was my stand out player up until Italy went out. He was superb. Over the course of the tournament, I think Nani has been exceptional. I'm far from his biggest fan but he's had a great tournament and consistently performed

Nani is a good shout. Still going with Ramsey. We missed him badly against Portugal. Love Utd to sign him, but don't think he's the player we need at this moment in time.

Boateng for Germany. I thought he was class throughout (other than the penalty)
