If he can get back to his Dortmund level he'll become your best player by far. If he plays the way he has for the past 2 years you'll get a very frustrating player
Good player, On his day he is terrific but those seem to be few and far between now.
Definitely won't complain if we get him but won't care if we miss out.
He'll be managed by Poch so any talk of him not being in form should be negated by the fact one of Poch's biggest strengths is getting the best out of players. I'd be confident we could see the good side of Gotze again.
Fantastic player but his best position is as a number 10 behind the main striker and we have Alli and Eriksen who prefer that role.
Obviously Goetze would enhance any squad in Europe but i would prefer a pacy wide player if are are to sign another attack mid.

I signed him for Spurs on FIFA a few years ago. We won the league, FA cup, league cup and 'champions cup'.

He is a top class player. As long as he is played to his strengths, then he is good. Good roaming player and improves anyone's squad. Would comfortably get in any PL side for me personally.

No doubting his ability but personally not no sure now, average season for Bayern last season and had a very poor Euros by all standards. Worries about whether he would cut it in this physical league as well, he struggles on that part of his game already.

The BILD report say that Götze appearently said to his national team mates that he wants to leave Bayern allthough he stated differently before the EURO's.
Bild know linking him with firstly Dortmund and secondly with Tottenham. Allegedly Spurs contacted his representatives in the last few days.
A vague report if you ask me.

I don't think we need any more attacking mids, unless we are going to get one with lighting pace (i.e. something different)
Gotze hasn't impressed me for ages and is he really significantly better than eriksen? I would say no, and I guess they are similar age.
Dele Alli has the potential to comfortably surpass both.

With Dembele also very effective if used there, and Pritchard coming through, is very strong.
use the 20m and 100k a week on an area we need to strengthen... split the money and buy another CB (unless we are going to promotes CCV), and get ourselves a decent back up keeper.
would like a bit of pace behind kane but think we have to accept its not really how poch plays, pace and width comes from the fullbacks and the 3 behind kane are more creative players who come inside and create
Gotze would demand at least 100k pw wages and i can't see us paying those wages before the new stadium is built.
