Sakho has acted exceptionally through all of this. Most footyplayers are out in Ibiza sunning it up on the beach while he was in Africa helping local villages.
We did miss him in the Europa final and France missed him as well. He is a leader and they are his best qualities.
Such a same that he missed 2 of the biggest games of his career.

Yes he was really good to be honest. I just think we missed his leadership on the pitch. I don't think we would of conceded that many if he was playing.
Be interesting to see who Klopp playes alongside Lovren. Matip or Sakho

I reckon after a couple of months it'll be the case of who plays with Matip. Klopp can't speak highly enough of him and he's deffo not here for the bench

I agree with this and at lots at times this season felt like we were not missing ability or physical presence at the back but a leader who could manage a defence.

I have not seen much of Matip but I watched the game the other night and he looked gangly and nervous. I hope he proves me wrong but on current standing I would have Lovren as first name in CB position.
I have a feeling Klopp may give him the captains armband if Hendo leaves.

Lovren and Sakho should start, I can't see anybody who could get in ahead of those two. I still think we need another CB now we're losing Toure and Skrtel.
Henderson isn't going anywhere.

He's an athlete and should be able to work off fat through non medicated means. He's a lazy player who has ended up cutting corners to the clubs cost.
It still baffles me why we let Toure go, he would've been happy to be in the background and would've been solid if we needed him
