Arsenal wont pay Napoli's asking price.
No because our problem in striker is both quality and quantity. We need Giroud to stick around as well as add a new striker

Only an idiot would make Higuain the worlds most expensive player
I doubt it'd happen in these details but would be a good deal. Giroud has been 1st choice for years who's to say he'd happily accept backup now (despite being the role he deserves).
Then we have Walcott who was already backup last year, Welbeck to comeback and possibly a couple of projects in Akpom/Asano so numbers wise we're fine.
Depth was never the issue, quality was and Higuain is miles better than Giroud so the deal makes sense but no way can I see Wenger throwing Giroud in as I doubt he'd even want to pay that amount on it it's own

Yeah I agree, Woodward is a bit of an idiot though
Still, Pogba at least has the potential to become one of the worlds best.

There is definite substance to the rumour however is Wenger likely to part with money that is over £50m (not to talk of plus Giroud) for any player? Exactly. That is why this deal isn't worth the air that it circulates in on.

Giroud is worth £30m in today's market. Most we'll give you is £45m with Giroud included. No chance you're getting £60m+ unless we buy Gonzalo separately.
Higuain will force something sooner or later he wanted Arsenal in the first place, Napoli offer nothing other than runners-up to Juve.
We have muscle in this deal imo
Let's not forget you're also still working on getting Witsel who Zenit are keen to send the PL due to better transfer offers, you'll need to budge soon enough or that's 2 quality players you may not have afterwards

Who is more stubborn: ADL or Wenger?
Would love to see those two negotiating for a transfer.

Arsenal are interested in signing Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli, according to Sky Sources.

Pay whatever it takes to get him. Doesn't matter if we pay over the odds, Higuain is the only top striker we can realistically get. So get him.

Maybe the Giroud swap deal isn't BS
