Value for money right there, a rare bargain in todays market
He's worth 20 million max due to his potential but as of right now he's not a great defender.

I rate him, would be good long term next to Smalling for me but it's expensive I agree.
I think he will show his worth within a season or 2 though if playing regularly.
I think he has the potential to be one of the world's best and I'd happily see United go after him, even for this inflated fee.
The only thing I'd say is I don't think he'd fit together well with Smalling, so arguably it'd be a waste for us and City need him more than we do.
Transfer values are crazy this year - of course he's not worth £50 million, but that means naff all at present.
They paid £49m for Sterling last summer. Price doesn't equate to quality.
City need good defenders.
Good ball player, good in the tackle too, but his positioning and decision making leave a lot to be desired.
Potential for improvement of course.
Let us not forget that he played in a team set up by Martinez.

No we didn't we paid 43 million.
How hard is it to understand that no add on payments have been made yet.

So you only over paid by about 42 million then. Well done.
As for stones. Mediocre. If city spend that much equally as hilarious as the sterling debacle.
How did di Maria work out for you stretty if we are talking about wasted money.

No
Sterling is still 20, people forget that just as they forget their own clubs signed the likes of Torres, Carroll, Di Maria etc who were supposed to be the finished article.

Torres was well worth the money we paid for him. Carroll was overpriced not because of quality or potential but because it was the last day of the transfer window, we'd just sold Torres for £50m, and Newcastie pulled our kecks down.
For £43/£44m, possibly rising to £49m, wouldn't you expect the finished article? At the mo Sterling doesn't look close to fulfilling the potential, let alone justifying the price.

Unlikely you will with young raheem. You're more than likely stuck with Him.

Thought he was 22 this year?
Anyway, he still has a lot to learn. Personally, I don't think he has the mental ability to make it at the very top, doesn't like the pressure.

Most of that, you lost 15 + million plus he was on a fortune.
Apparently you can't laugh at other clubs' transfers unless you begin your post by referencing all of your own club's failed transfers.
