Loans can have a recall clause, but I doubt very much that we have included one with these two players.

Gerrard is almost back anyway so we wouldn't even need anyone unless we have 3 or more centre MUDs injured.

Even if, say Adam, Gerrard and Lucas were all injured at the same time, we could still field Spearing, Henderson and Downing behind a front three of Carroll, Kuyt and Suarez.

if there is no fee involved, then the loan contract may or may not have a recall clause in it, if it has you can call them back. if it doesn't, you can't.

you would have had to include them in the squad (if over 21), if they're not, they can't be added until the window opens again in january.

Two of the "Front Three" sound pretty disastrous to me.

To confuse the issue, towards the end of the season before last Man City were able to sign a keeper on loan (from Sunderland I think) when Given was injured even though Hart was on loan at Birmingham.

I hasten to add that, even though I'm a City supporter, I thought this was wrong. If we hadn't got enough strength in depth then we should have had to live with it. It was unfair to other teams.

Are you sure? Doesn't seem so to me. I think some people are getting a bit paranoid about multiple a/c's and hidden WUMs on here.

The OP has only had one account. It is probably his choice of display name that has caused some to raise questions. We will hopefully have more content posted by the OP that will confirm he is not a WUM. The recent influx of fake wum fans doesn't make for easy moderation.

We have probably had more members with IDs above 10,000 who support LFC than any other team. They either gloat on an other teams board or raise the serious concerns they have about the club on this board. A typical trait is the production of more articles than comment. Most members of the site create 20X more comments than articles. The WUMs fans go straight to creating articles as they have no interest in debate, just the re-action it causes. 10 articles, 3 comments is not un-common!
