Wenger is a great manager but is that enough? With the money being spent, you have to say that they will do well to compete for the top three.

It iis clear that Wenger has an issue with the current transfer market. But I think some fans are completely dreaming if they think a new manager would come and spend £200M like United or City do.
Despite the money in the bank, I think the budget for transfer is far less that what we think.

We had £100m+ in the bank for most transfer windows in the last 4 or 5 years. We only ever spend a fraction of it.

Last season we made over £100m, but does the amount available for players go up. No.

So where does the money go? I think Stan and the board are taking close to £100m out of the club every year. There is no other explaination for the figures we've seen for years now.

So for once they need to use some of that money to sign a top player to keep us in the top 4. If they continue with the miser policy we will lose the likes of Ozil and Sanchez and end up as a mid-table team.

Its been reported today that Juve are prepared close to the asking price to get Higuain. Another one we probably wont get.

This is what the fans pay extortionate ticket prices for.

I think, just maybe, Busby was suggesting that we only got one real season out of Van Persie as he was injured for most of his time with us. Just maybe. Possibly.

Arsenal are ranked higher than both Man City and Chelsea in the most recent Forbes rich list. That tells you that Arsenal can spend as much as Man City or Chelsea. The owners of these clubs haven't put in any more money into these clubs for a lot of years. So I think people need to stop on this financial doping nonsense.
