I think any self respecting Spurs fan will always miss Ledley, not just because he was such a beast of a defender but also he bled Spurs. Anyone who was willing to risk destroying his own knee playing for the club he loved gets respect from me.
Good artcile, sorry to inject a non spurs player but Luis Garcia for me, fecking loved him.
none. because I don't know any of them personally.
the only spurs player I have met over the last few years have been younes kaboul (at a petrol station), and ledley king. both are cool guys, but I wouldn't say I know them.
I would have to say Gazza.
Back in the day before Sky if i couldn't go to the game i would listen to Spurs matches on radio 5. Even if we were a goal down you always knew with Gazza in the side you had a chance to get a result.
He was just a sensational player and won many games on his own for us.
but did you know him personally?
don't get the article really. unless you know a man personally how can you miss them on a personal level?
If we are talking personally, it would be a strange choice in JT for me. The times i've met him(quite a few) he's been friendly, stopped for a chat and not seemed in a rush to F off like many celebrities. Talked sense and seemed genuine.
Someone as a player I miss is zola though, the way he use to light up the place and make people smile as a person was great.

ffs
Robbie Keane and Stephen Carr for me. Keane for obvious reasons, pure class and Carr because hes rarely spoken about and people forget how dependable he was for us. Didn't miss a game for us for years that boy
Chronic I'm pretty sure if you try really hard, you can figure out what the article is trying to convey...irrespective of the exact wording being used.

I meant a player who you felt that sort of connection with, not literally.
messiah
philspurs and Paxton
I had a soft spot for niko and corluka.
Rafa by a country mile. The passion he had during his short spell here and still to this day the amount of respect he shows us and the supporters. Always talks about regretting his decision to leave and always puts the spurs fans in a positive light. Not to mention what a cracking footballer he was. I couldn't careless if he was a little unfit and maybe even slightly over weight. The guy oozed class and was one of the best players to pull on a spurs shirt in the premier league era

Messiah?!
Thought you'd left this site! Haven't seen you on here for years!
hiya notso mate
decided there wasn't enough of an Irish representation on here these days so came back
The title is very misleading to be honest...
Luka & Corluka
Throw in Niko for good measure. Also as few others have mentioned, Ledders and Rafa. Bale too. All brilliant players and servants of Spurs
Corluka for me very underrated .
Corluka was a fantastic footballer , he didn't have great pace but could play the game and kept it simple .

Hahaha well welcome back!!!!
Hope you're all good
I miss Huddlestone.
On his day a please to watch him stroke the ball around. Always really liked him. Always defended the lazy comments that he's fat or immobile. Such a shame that players with 'engines' seem to be preferred in this league to gifted players like Hudd. If you could combine him and someone like Henderson, he'd have been a truly world class CM.
