Aaron Lennon, John Lennon, Cynthia Lennon. All significantly better players than Walcott and one's been dead since 1980.
Pogba (if he signs) will be best midfielder in league. We already have best keeper. And likes of Martial, Rashford, Shaw, Smalling, Memphis who are all still very young and have massive potential.
Oh and we have a certain Swedish phenomenon too.

Ramsey was awful last year, he was slated all year by Arsenal fans but because he had a good euros most of them have forgotten about that and love him again.
Other then Pogba (and that's if he signs) United's midfield really isn't anything special imo, Rooney is gash.
Oscar is awful.
Cities midfield is the most talented, as inconsistent as Toure is now he's unplayable when he's in the mood, I'd also have De Bruyne in there (best AM in the league)
Bentaleb should be there instead of Mason and whilst our midfield doesn't look like anything special on paper Dembele, Alli and Dier regularly dominated the midfield week in week out. Dembele is our best midfielder, maybe even our best player.

Dembele was absolutely superb last season, doesn't get the props he deserves from rival fans who don't watch him every week.

Yeah true, but if Gundogan can fit Toure probably won't play much in midfield to be a liability.
Pep will probably play him at cb anyway.

On a side note:
Do Liverpool have even a single good midfielder?
Dembele is very good in midfield and has reinvented himself from Mr Inconsistency.
But isn't he banned for a load of games?
Toure is past his prime by a long shot tbh.

He has a 6 game ban for scratching Costa in the eye (or gouging his eye out as Chelsea fans described it) which he has already served half of, he'll be out for the first 3 games so Wanyama will get some game time
Yeah Dembele was class last season. Will be interesting to see if he can maintain his form. He's been more inconsistent than Nani prior to that.
If Xhaka slots in well, it would allow Arsenal's midfield to become ridiculously good.
He can tackle and pass well, so if he does the DM role with discipline, Ramsey will have more freedom to join the attacks with Ozil.
