Ed
Arrived there last night for the game and it's cancelled
He only went there to tell Jose he's got his man.
That photo of him smiling can't have been anything else and you'd be naive to think it was.
Meanwhile Paddy Crerand was in a room with Journalists who all believe the deal is done and dusted
As much I want it to happen I don't think it will, this has the vidal saga written all over it
Paddy is funny as $hit when in a room full of journalists.
Not by intent.

I have always been of the belief that there is one party in this transfer, that everyone pretty much ignores, as to whay it will not happen.
The player himself. Why, after seeing the players Juve have signed would he want to leave them, when they will have a good shot at the CL and will quite easily win another home league title.
Paddy is funny anyway, black crimpolene slacks and white reebok classics

There's only one reason any sane human being would leave Italy to move to Manchester... £.
If the move does ever materialize it won't be because the player has an overwhelming desire for a new challenge or because he feels an affinity for Manchester. We'll just end up with an over-paid and under-motivated player whose soul ambition is to do enough to get a bigger payday at Madrid.
Apparently he is on about 70k a week at Juve. It is feasible that Ed might offer him 4 times that to join United. I am not sure how the tax compares between the two countries, but either way, it will be a huge pay rise. I'd come and play in Manchester fora few years for the figures likely to be involved in any deal.

Exactly, I think he'll stay for another season or two and go to Madrid when their ban is over, Ronaldo would of gone and they could afford his wages without upsetting him.
Juve aren't in China
They're in Australia and playing us tommorow
If only there were vehicles that could transport people from one country to another with speeds over 500mph. Or if there was the technology that allowed people to communicate either by talking or typing across the globe.

Indeed 1982. You have to wonder why some of the cretins on here didn't consider that when getting all giddy over Ed not flying out on the tour.
Thank you as ever for your input.
What's your point then? You said Ed is in China and Juve aren't, what does that mean?
If Ed/United have made any contact with Juve/Raiola then he has had plenty of time. Contact can then be continued over the phone or via emails.
I'm assuming Ed has an obligation to be on United's tour at some stage and being there for the City games makes sense. I'm sure now it's been cancelled he will be on a flight back to Europe.
I've heard he took his trusty carrier pigeon... All is good

I don't have one. Just keeping people up to date, and having a chat with any one who cares.
I am sure you will find fault with that.
Great, keep up the riveting debate.

Hopefully he is trying to sell them Wazza.
Ed's in China to pick up some tips on wages and transfer fees from their top clubs
It's twinning exercise. Both cities are known for their outstanding amounts of rain.
Why are you desperate for Pogs not to sign?
