Is the op really judging him on a pre season game with a bunch of squad men and kids ?
Spurs fans never disappoint
Most of the adjectives you've used could easily have been applied to Kane in his early first-team outings. Only pre-season and far, far too early to judge.
Whilst we are at Cameron Carter-Vickers is the new Steven Caulker.
We could probably off load him to Liverpool for 25 mill
Chronic, the op isn't a Spurs fan
This guys made like 3 articles now talking about how he doesn't rate Janssen because apparently he's slow and cumbersome.
We get it <ok<
He's a WUM, posting history suggests he's a gooner even if he's too embarrassed to put it in his profile
Janssen comes alive in the box but he needs service. Similar to Kane if you like. Even his youtube clips shows you that as all his goals are in the box.
He might really come good but I personally would have gone for the more direct, pacy, tricky type of player that offers you something a bit different. Both him and Kane need service so you would have thought we would go for a different type of player.
Keep the faith!
kane doesn't need that much service if on form
see goals v arsenal and Chelsea the year before as proof.
guy can score out of nothing

Come on mate, it was a meaningless game in third strong team, and he had almost no service.
You cannot judge him on that!
And we don't need a striker to 'to pick up the ball from 25/30 yards, try to beat a couple of players', that's what Lamela / Erkisen / Dembele / Ali / the new guy do. We need someone in the box to convert the chances.
Look at Van Nistelorooy - all he did was stand in the box and get on the end of things, but he would score 30 a season and win you the league.
Give the lad a chance

This isnt 2005 though, football has moved on from Van Nistelrooy's time where formations were 4-4-2, and it was all about clever movement in the box. The top strikers of today don't simply operate in the box anymore, you have to have agility, pace, skill and be fluid outside of the box too

Bøllöcks.
None of Suarez, Lewandowski or Higuain are blessed with great pace.
Higuain doesn't have the silky skills.
What the hell is "fluid outside of the box" exactly?
Jansson did look cumbersome today but He also looked drastically unfit today, so he will need the games to get up to speed within the next 3 weeks. Thats what the friendlys and pochs intense training are for.
One things for sure in our system you can tell very early doors if a player works or not. we are so disciplined a player off the pace, without the discipline or not with the right attributes stands out like a sore thumb.
You've basically called him slow in four different ways.
