Not sure they will. Celta are on top, and currently winning 1-0 atm. Granada are Boro of the epl
Boro can defend, to be fair.
A couple of el classico and el plastico games next weekend

Wouldn't mind Adams getting a result though, even though he is ex-gooooons he seems a decent enough bloke.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd give you shorter odds on hell freezing over. Have you seen his managerial record?
-Relegated Wycombe to League Two.
-Sacked by Portsmouth after reaping 10 points from 16 games (they'd finished 9th the season before).
-Coached Qabala to their worst finish in the Azerbaijani League this decade.
Now he's just doing a Neville at the expense of another Spanish club to thanks some other Chinese investor. He hasn't even pretended he wants to be there. The investor group backing him is set to buy another two or three clubs and Adams is set to join one of them in some director capacity at the end of the season.
The investors have basically given up all hope of keeping Granada up and for some reason want Adams to be the man to take them down as it won't require an extra salary. Celta mauled them playing their 3rd-string reserves, ffs.
I honestly don't know why the owners bothered sacking Alcaraz to begin with. Hopefully they just wanted a local man who honestly loves the club to save some face, and bring him back when there's some chance of brigning the club back. I certainly hope it isn't because they see him as an obstacle to asset strip them once they're down and out of the spotlight. The club only owns the transfer rights on around a third of the players through the entire club setup, and barely a handful of the senior team, if that.
Spanish football can be such a shambles sometimes. Tony facking Adams.
That's some harsh truth IOAG

While it pains me to say it, Adams is an abysmal manager. IOAG is right. Granada haven't got a prayer.

why did they hire him?
i dont understand such cavalier disregard for the club/fans
----------------------------------------------------------------------
This is exactly what bugs me too.
Was reading Sid Lowe's latest article about him in The Guardian, and both he and others BTL are so defensive of Adams, as if they didn't get why Granada deserve any better than a guy with such an awful managerial CV acting as if he's got frontal lobe damage.
Are Grenada your second team IOAG ? You seem to care about them.
Is Adams drinking buddies with the Chinese investors then?

No, I couldn't really give two hoots about them in particular - it's more just a general annoyance at the shi·tty foreign investors LaLiga clubs are getting bought out by.
