Essien and Altintop hadn't hit 30 yet, they just moved like 40-year-olds.

But Van Nistelrooy was the only really top signing that worked out for us who was 30ish years old. Think it was Capello who signed him. Was averaging more than a goal every 2 games for us.

Not grate. We bullied them at times and looked well on top, but sat back and let them come onto us but they didn't do much with it. We were pretty comfortable winners in the end.

Napoli will be pot two if they qualify. Which is a shame would have loved to have parked the bus and beat you guys in the cl.

we need to be in CL as we have fixed up the stadium a little, so parts do not fall on peoples head and their shoes dont get covered in raw sewage.

It'd be great if with the money at inter and Milan they put proper teams together.

AC Milan are building a good squad with young players, who will probably challenge for top three next season. Also, he'd be a guaranteed starter there.

Because unless their finances have changed drastically (which I doubt, looking at their current squad), they're not going anywhere in a hurry.

That makes them vulnerable to having their better players picked off by the (currently) richer clubs, so it's going to be very difficullt for them to consistently challenge the top dogs, imo.

I mean, let's be honest, Deulofeu and Suso might have always held promise, but they've both misfired at a higher level, and Bacca isn't the quality needed either.
