Wenger was never going to change his ways. His transfer dealings over the last 5-6 years have been pretty disgraceful.
One week to go, no Giroud, Koscienly or Ozil, no concrete evidence effort to bring in players and then the nerve to say to us that money isn't the problem.
How he gets away with it every season and how he still has the backing of certain fans is unbelievable

Hard to sympathise when he gets you in the champions league every season. United, Chelsea and Liverpool would have loved that level of consistency over the last few years.

I'm sure Chelsea would love to sacrifice their league title and Euro trophies for some of this "consistency", And I'm absolutely certain they and Utd will win the league again before we do despite them being in a state in very recent times.
We'll definitely lose vs Liverpool. We've won i think just 1 of our last 6 opening day fixtures
Would rather have a bad start that motivates Wenger into signings than have a good start that feeds his delusions and leads to a worse season overall.
It is a sad fact that our manager has become so weak that signing players will genuinely hinge on the first few results of the campaign.

Then at some point of the season those 2 extra players we were crying out for will be the reason we drop out the title race.
