I've completed the game 4 times.
Isn't it a linear game though? Does anything change in each play through?
I hear there are also some enemy AI problems.
Had any one done TLOUS on grounded ? I tried and gave up .

Got to the last scene in the hospital with the long corridor filled with enemies, I swear it's impossible, no matter what approach I try there are too many of them and no way to lure them one by one away
Yeah I tried on grounded and gave up too, fair play to anyone who has completed it on grounded though.
RtM it is linear but doesn't feel it, there are large areas to explore and different ways to tackle certain areas, I have played the game through 5 or six times.
It's 100% linear, but it doesn't matter. Incredible game.
The reason I asked is multiple playthroughs generally mean possible different outcomes. I don't see the point in playing a story based game more than once if nothing changes.
@RtM , the ending is always the same .
However what makes this game great are listed below.
1. The characters Joel and Ellie
2.That feeling of what the Fack am I gonna do with 1 bullet vs 8 zombies.
3. Watching an older brother having to shoot his 8 year old brother dead.
4.Clickers , I hate those fackers.
5. The story .
6.The feeling of being in this situation for real , we've all probably lost someone we care about , I know I have . If you haven't you kind of give up for a while and don't ever think you will be happy again, you then meet some one and all that hurt gives goes away and you then have a reason to go on . I think this is what this game is about , hence the title.
All of what Hitler said and finding a new way past certain situations, (can I run past these mother truckers, or maybe sneak up on them)
And finding things you missed, like that extra bullet or shiv, linear it may be but there are so many different ways to tackle things, like sneaking round the cars to get the sniper or through the buildings.

I hate that fat Fack in the gym , trying to kill him and getting the cast of 28 days later running at you .
I spent an age killing all the zombies when you get trapped in the sewer with Henry. I know lots of people just sneak past, after killing a couple, but I couldn't leave all the goodies behind. Luckily I had a few molotovs which are really good at killing a group of them if you throw a brick to attract them. Then shotgun all the stragglers
Took an age, and probably a big waste of ammo, but great fun.
I really hope and would imagine TLOU 2 will be naughty dogs next project

Apparently there is DLC coming out UC4 , once this is completed there starting on TLOU 2.
Crash Bandicoot is out either b4 Xmas or just after.
Easily the best maker of games .

just played through the Uncharted remastered collection on PS4 and ordered Uncharted 4. Love it.

The Last of us is the best game ever made. The storyline, the characters....it's brilliant!

Where did you get up to?
Does it matter? It isn't for everyone including myself. It starting to get to the point of Breaking Bad for some people. "Only made it to episode 6? Oh it gets good after that"
"Only the first season? It gets good after that!"
It might be a great game but I know many people who were bored with it and never felt a need to continue. As for myself I've just never been a fan of Uncharted OR Last of Us.
I only asked him a question. I get that you don't like it.
You saying regardless of how far he got you weren't going to suggest it gets better after that point?
