"I would like to clarify that it is true that I have been discussing potential investment with different parties, but at this moment in time I cannot confirm any definite deal has been done. I have always said I will do what is best for Nottingham Forest and if I decide to make a deal with an investor it will be in the best interests of the club’s future"
So it contradicts his statement on waiting for FA approval, but it doesn't say that there is nothing in the pipeline.
Not sure it contradicts it, as any deal will be subject to FA approval any way - so it will not be definite until that point.
A bit of a funny statement to make, though, isn't it?
Hope this isn't the start of a (another) bucket load of bad news.
I'm sure he said at one point it's was all done and just awaiting approval sph.
Any future plans will be, yea, but to now go, there's nothing concrete after saying it was pretty much done is abit odd, unless approval for the Greek was denied or will be indefinitely delayed

There's an interview with natjack at the end of the article
He went on to tweet...
'I would like to address that some of the fans are confused about the procedures of getting a new investor in the club...'
'The point is that , We are still waiting for a response from the FL in order for this deal to happen...'
'Knowing that whether the FL agree on the new partner or not nothing going to change we are still going on our plans'
So it looks like Waggy, along with many others, shot their bolt early on this.
There is a takeover/investment, just waiting for FL clearance.

It's a bit 'riddles and rhymes' though. Sometimes, it's best to say nowt.
£100 says he wouldn't have stuck his head above the parapet had the Reds had a bad start to the season. This clears nothing up and is just hot air like a lot of his utterances.
The fact that fans were unable to get into a well below capacity CG for probably the first time in history is an absolute disgrace and will probably be the seal on the Al Hasawi's legacy. They've been working towards a solution for over a month now apparently. I just can't believe one club out of 92 can't get its stadium in order for the start of the season. It's a complete farce and is spooling what is happening in the pitch (AGAIN) for me.
The fiasco over the safety certificate does really illustrate how far out of his depth Fawaz is.
Should we have a good season, top six finish and a Cup run as well this hiccup over the ground capacity will be forgotten about.
Fawaz and the Greek are both trigger happy when it comes to sacking managers, the Greek is far more competent at running a football club. We need to hope that Fawaz keeps taking advice, even if the takeover falls through.
Leeds have said they only anticipate getting 1600 tickets for the game in a couple of weeks 🙄
