There's a picture on Twitter of him arriving there. Unbelievable. Or maybe it's not given what has happened since Fawaz took over. Norwich have reportedly upped their bid for Britt to £10 million. An interesting day to say the least. Let's hope we have a decent keeper lined up because Henderson does not give me much confidence.
speroni at Palace has been pushed out.
Mandanda has arrived and Hennessey is their number 2.
Great keeper, even at 37 he'd give me fewer worries than Henderson.
He's also out of contract.
Dorus is still under contract with us until next summer, apparently. If he is off, it had better be for a very decent fee!
Take it he is a good keeper?
DDV seems like a decent bloke to me, he is an excellent keeper, and I just don't see why he would want to spend the last few years of his career, he is 35 I believe, warming a bench in an utterly uncompetitive league, surely he would want to play more than a handful of games per season. Apparently Celtic will pay a 'nominal fee' for DDV who has over a year left on his Forest contract. If we do sell DDV I hope (though seriously doubt) we have a suitable replacement lined up. The circus that is NFFC it appears could be re-appearing, the last thing we need right now.😡

Too good for the SPL.
too good to be on the bench for an SPL team
I think we do need an additional keeper in because by all accounts our range of prospects aren't quite ready yet. As for Henderson; DDV had a not too convincing start when he had the odd chance and fans were righting him off when Darlow first signed for Newcastle.
Let's give people adequate chance, yeh
Some fans have actually been messaging him on Twitter giving negative views on his ability after the first time games, really helps does that
I'm fairly sad DDV has gone, he's a solid keeper and very vocal. Although he lets in some where you think he could do better; he saves even more that you don't think he had a right to. In the balance of things helps in the points and goal difference columns. Even though we had a poor season last he well deserved the player of the season award.
I wish him luck, maybe he thinks he can oust the other keep especially as he has worked with Brendan before. Not ideal for us, but he was out of contract next summer and it's clear the club are keen to not let players run out their deals, especially if they seem like they want to move on.
I fully expect Henri to go if pen doesn't go to paper on a new deal
Waggy, you can still have medical if you're injured BTW, they would account for the injury
Cheers ray i will have one saturday just to see iam fit enough for a sat afters session in the footy bar
Possibly his last decent payday before hanging up his gloves. As we all know there is no loyalty from players anymore.

He wont get much of a payday at Celtic. You probably have more money than us.
The Derby Telegraph report all of our transfer news Rev, on the day we signed 2 players they posted a Championship Transfer Update story with us getting close to a target then two specific stories when we signed the two players.
They are nearly always resident on the Forest News Now page. It's supply and demand with most obsessed sheep demanding Forest news and the DT desperate to get them back from the Nottingham Post site
Although I trust Henderson will improve, we should make a serious approach for Dimi Konstantopoulos, even on loan, who is now seemingly the third choice keeper at Middlesbrough behind Valdés and Guzan. Forty odd games as guaranteed number one with us are there for the taking and you'd have to say he'd would be an improvement on DDV.
He's been with us before and we might as well milk the Greek connection with the incoming investment* a bit more.
If they went for Dimi K, hope he last longer than the one training session he managed last time he was here on loan from Cov!
I'd be very sad to see DDV leave. I don't think it would do any team good to lose the previous season's he's player. As stated, the Brendan Rodgers connection may prove decisive.
DDV went for a medical, as good as gone

Celtic are a huge club and the chance to win trophies, work with Brendan Rodgers again and (hopefully) be playing in the Champions League is obviously too good an opportunity to turn down i think you will agree.
Quite possibly Forest were paying him a very modest salary and he wasn't assured that he was No' 1 keeper.
If a manager you really respect wants to sign you at the back end of your career and give you the opportunity to play in Europe Vs playing for a club in a rut, it's not really a hard choice.
Suppose you are correct Will, in two or three years time, should he hang up his gloves, at least he will be almost guaranteed to have some trophies to look at, even if he will hardly ever have played. Also good luck to DDV he. certainly doesn't owe us anything.👍
