Back on the bench next Friday at least

No Lingard either, still recovering from the injury in the Shield.

Disappointing really. There is absolutely no pace in our team. Going to be hard to break down Bournemouth.

Ooo god what is that midfield

Anyway.away to the match, disappointed with that line up, so slow

posted on 14/8/16

Fellaini, Herrera and Rooney is a very poor midfield imo

Pogba is going to be wasted in this formation I think. Unless he takes Rooney's place. Which he won't

Slow, but should be more than enough for Bournemouth.

It's not a top 4 one, that's for sure.

Can you guys calm down ffs

Mkhitaryan should be starting in either Rooney or Matas place.

Indeed, be far more effective there. I don't see Jose dropping Rooney no matter how bad he plays. Not even sure he is allowed to, who Knows? Can't explain why Rooney seems untouchable otherwise.

Lingard must have picked up some injury last weekend. Bummer.

Not particularly enthusiastic about the midfield or Mata on the right... No mhki...

Lack pace, lack creativity... It's all a bit last season

I see this place is going to be as upbeat and positive as ever this season

posted on 14/8/16

maybe so but man u have spent a lot,man city look overated to me, even our lot beat them last week allbeit a friendly.

And that quiet little 'pfffft' you can just about hear is the tiny bubble of excited expectation deflating......

Half a billion spent and we have Fellaini and Herrera in centre midfield

You guys all need to calm down we haven't even kicked off yet. You all sound like Robb when he finds a puncture in his girlfriend

posted on 14/8/16

He will be eased in, it's a new league and Bournemouth away wouldn't be the easiest start.
