Neither Weimann, Blackman or Russell are wingers they're all forwards. Ince and Camara would be our only natural wide men.
If we did have a workable central midfield, you could have a bit of fun.
Ince ................................Camara
.................Bent.....Martin.............
Weimann and Blackman coming in as subs.
You'd have to have a very good central midfield to play that though. Also, Camara has to prove himself as more than a cameo master.
Thanks for the update Vidals
Hendrick out for 10 days so it would seem our defesnive midfield options barring a signing are Hanson, Baird or BJ.
I'd lean towards Hanson, when BJ has played there his positioning, marking and touch haven't done him any favours. I think he should on paper be our best option but not sure in terms of form if he's there.
Nigel Pearson said so in the interview, it's not up to the player where he wants to play, he has to do the job he's told to do....lol....don't think he's the type that will protect his players from criticism.
I'd leave the bj out until we've a few more points on the board and his head is a better place.
The home fans for sure have turned on him, let's not exasperate that by putting him in that cauldron.
He hopefully will still play part but when the time I right.
Just back.
Tidy if not convincing display. Ince had a cracking shot that hit the post and if it had gone in, maybe it would have sparked him to greater things.
Bryson, still not settled and Hughes whilst showing flashes did not really flatter.
Christie worries me, despite some good contribution towards the end, he still doesn't look up for it and I don't feel confident when he is in possession.
Camara was exciting but unless he matures will not be one to rely on, just a bit too excitable.
Russell, Keogh dependable as always, Chrrisy Martin still not getting the service he craves.
Solid.

Just back. Like Larry said. We were the better team overall but although the shape was better the 3 in midfield never controlled the game. Johnson should have been in Hughes' position and Hughes further forward. I thought Bryson and Butters were anonymous really
Another piece for 666 to chew on or choke on....
I'm not unduly worried by the opinions of Vidals: he's hardly the most astute so-called fan we have.

Berks like him are the reason MistaKeogh's name cheapens the Jack Stamps and underlines just why democracy can never work.
You're just miffed because you failed to trouble the scorers in this year's Invitational, 666.

666 was INVITED?
Well, since you ask, no he wasn't, Scouse. For anyone else you might think expect that non-attendance would have a serious effect on the Stableford points tally, but in 666's case, not so much.
Hi Preston Fans, Rangers fan here and I used to live in Blackpool and detest the place!
Just wanting to know what kind of player we are going to get in Garner, as I can honestly say I had never heard of him.
Me neither.....James Garner perhaps?

Marel,
I think you are being a tad optimistic with your use of plural regarding Preston fans?
Sorry I can't answer your question BTW.
I think I could be waiting a while for a answer
That's the rouble with Vidal, he's always "on the fence".
