Not so sure JW and AR could be defined as “deadwood.” Not yet anyway….
While both have had their fair share of injuries, when fit, (the main challenge IMO) have proven to be of significant benefit to the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
But they are rarely fit though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Not disputing their fitness which has been poor. Big season for both players ahead but at 25, (AR) and 24, (JW) they have their best years ahead of them. For that reason I think it’s somewhat premature to refer to them as deadwood.
Given current midfield options neither player are vital to the success of the club.

They are constantly injured, what makes you think they'll stay fit, considering their bad track record ?

_______
Deadwood may be little harsh term I used there however these 2 have spent significant time at the club without being fit over 75-80% of full season. Their contribution has been okay nothing exceptional imho.
Wenger can be way too loyal and soft with some of his players.

I understand Ramsey has averaged around 40 games a season over the last five years or so, with JW even less so. But don’t see, (given age and ability) the point of offloading either player at the moment.
Their market value will be reduced, and as noted previously, their best years are ahead of them. However if injuries persist then of course the club will have to look at other options.
It works both ways. The club supported both Diaby and RvP despite having appalling injury records, however RvP proved (albeit briefly) what a talent/benefit he could be when fit.

Haha, Igor bottling a reply 'til you knew I wasn't about. Not sure what you've got to laugh at, when I supplied you with the damning evidence you asked for.
Back to the drawing board for you (again) I'm afraid, old boy. Crayons being your weapon of choice of course.

Gosh you are thick, was giving time for the influx of replys to back up the pounding you give me, not waiting till you weren't about.
Not one backed you, not even a fellow gooner.
Epic fail

Are you his little bit itch?

Nah, just thought I'd let you know you took a severe pounding as no one else had.
It made an amusing lunchtime read.
Thank you, Lex!
That was an awful read, did anyone ever find out what it was for?
Nah, Diggers. Apparently Igor and I 'have history'. He, however, could not provide any proof of this.
As for yourself, Igor, of course no one read it (apart from (U10064) today). Nor did I expect anyone to. You really think you're that big a deal here?
Delusional, that's what you are

Look at the amount of comments generated by the OP between my last comment last night and yours. It was, what, 22:30-ish. How many comments were you expecting to suddenly crop up? You think there's a JA606 alert call to the Arsenal posters whenever I make a comment?
And even when there is a poster 'backing me up' you still won't accept the simple truth of it. Do you think the Liverpool 'Igor' on the thread about Klopp no longer speaking to the Sun is also 'my bit itch'?
Truth of it is, my chippy little Irish chum, you're so butt-hurt you've eschewed any sort of logical thought here. I refer you back to your reply to my first comment on this thread. So itching were you to engage me you put your brain in the bin - alongside your posting reputation - to do so.
I'm off now for a couple of days, so your JAnus will at least have a bit of time to recover.
You're welcome
A poster who's last comment was Jan 2013 backing you up
Dual account me thinks lex, tut tut lad.
You keep clutching at those straws.
Enjoy the few days off, keep them blinds closed, it will help.
Can't believe you signed this guy, fair play

€63m is what £55m? considering the crazy market, this price wouldn't be that expensive. But somehow I doubt it Wenger would be willing to spend that kind of money on a player that is similar to Walcott
----------------------------------------------------------------------
James similar to Walcott wtf, James has more technique is his left ball than Theo will ever have.

Absolutely. Though the thread itself ended up acting as a decent enough conduit for me to caaaaant off some Derby WUM (again) so, on a personal level at least, it wasn't totally without merit.
