It is stating the obvious I know. But we need a comfortable win and a satisfying performance with Chris Martin and Ince amongst the goals, Camara and Fossie having a blinder and Will Hughes pulling all the strings.

Yes I remember that game and the home where we beat them 3 1 with 2 goals from king Kevin. The team for the Villa Park game was virtually the same as the team which finished 4th in the first season in division 1 the next season. It pays to keep a team together.

Will there be 4 assists from the goal keeper like last time? Roy Carroll always reminded me of Father Dougal and not just his looks.
I remember the last home match v Villa in the second division on 7/9/69. Zak 2 and Gladys 1.
The team weren't bad: Green, Webster, Robson, Durban, McFarland, MacKay, Walker, Carlin, O'Hare, Hector, Hinton. Sub Ritchie Barker.
I was one of 23,723 at the good ole Baseball Ground. Wonderful days, we had a fantastic team and manager and I was 21! and still single

Shops are shutting when the match is on so no excuse. Just be disagreeable when out shopping with Mrs Ang, say everything she tries on looks rubbish and eventually she wont ask you to accompany her.
Where is everyone - apart from Baz and Ang who has excused himself?

Yeah there's a few Villa fans in North Yorkshire I just hope I'm not trying to avoid them after today!
I will be surprised if we see the 4-1-4-1 mi sen. Hoping that those who want out will put in a decent performance and so too will those that want out.
This game might have come a bit too soon for us but it'll be interesting to see us on the counter. Defending is where I'm a bit nervy though.
