He was trying hard to play the ball out quickly yesterday and kick passes to a team mate. Didn't carry it off well enough for my liking but its clear he's been told and is trying but not up to it

I have a bad feeling about Gordon.

He is going to try to prove that he can play football to keep his place. His lack of skills, combined with low levels of confidence and high levels of stupidity will almost certainly result in a big mistake.

Dead man walking

We all know DDF will get the gloves sooner rather than later.

Will he still have them for OF game

On Wednesday I thought he was to blame for the goals until I go thing and seen the replay.

He could have done better with the 2nd on Saturday but I'll hold back from saying he is done again

I can't fathom what Gordon has done to deserve the sudden opinion that has been formed of him.

We are lucky to have him.

I haven't a problem with him not saving the penalty as it was a well taken penalty right in the corner.. my issue was the fact he didn't even try to save it.

He just fell to his knees.

In his time at the club, I don't think he's had genuine competition for his place. Yes we have other goalkeepers but nobody has done enough to displace him. Maybe a certain element of complacency has crept in?

That will change.

He has had a horrendous start to the season. How many goals is that he has caused now?

Given that we have only conceded 8 goals in our 8 games (granted that could be better), then not many.

Gordon still holds the record for the least goals conceded in an SPL season, a record he broke with us.

Three then out of eight.

He was poor most of last season too. Some real howlers. It's not a recent thing.
The fact that other tensions in the league haven't been able to take advantage isn't much comfort.
He looks very nervous and is worse than useless at pens.

Whilst I would still be reluctant to drop him he has to be aware that he is NOT undroppable, competition for places should be No1 thru No11, if he is god enough in the coaching staffs opinion then fair enough, if not sut on yer erse, I hope he rises to the challenge as I like him as a man and player, often a strange duo

Is he the new scapegoat now that Efe's out of the picture?

Give the guy a break ffs!

Sh!t happens, he's still a good keeper!

I still find it funny that he was getting the blame of Astana's goal

Came out, won the header and got the ball to midfield. What else was he supposed to do with it? Brown gets out muscled and the guy scores a good goal.

Although to be fair, he probably could have saved that penalty had he actually dived.

Like I say my issue isn't the fact he didn't save the penalty.. it's that he didn't even try to save it. He just dropped to his knees like he does everytime.

For the first Beer goal he was beat at his near post having left a massive gap there. It was a good strike, one that was hard to save, but he gave the guy the option. Had he covered his near post that option would not have been there.

There's been heaps of other incidents in the past year where he's given cheap goals away too. And it's not just his inability to save shots anymore that worries me.. it's the fact he flaps everytime a cross comes into the box. His kicking is atrocious too.

He got beat at the near post and also got caught in no mans land in the first game.
