Think the treatment Gordon's been getting is uncalled for tbh. Janko isn't a defender, in fact, he should change profession

It's unbelievable that both Tyler Blackett and Saidy Janko managed to get signed by Man Utd in the first place, never mind hang around at OT for a few years. Hard to decide which of them is worst, though Janko at least has mobility. Neither are footballers though in a million years. So many "athletes" robbing a wage these days.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly, Janko is an athlete no doubt, likewise with Agathe, at least he had roughened up before the crowd shattered him to pieces. FFS he's a young boy. The treatment Gordon's been getting is shocking too. He's kept us in the CL
Yeah Janko is a given, don't think anyone can argue for him too strongly at this point.
Gordon though...? Agree he's been flakey but I think tonight the positives far outshone the negatives. Few really good takes and of course the penalty save.
Glad we've got some competition in there though.
That second goal was 99% Janko's fault. He was easily the worst player on the park.
Gordon's been poor the last few weeks but his penalty save got us through tonight.
Gordon couldn't miss the penalty.. it was one of the worst I've seen taken in ages.
He was at fault for both goals, and he was poor at they're first in the first leg.
That's 3 goals that almost cost us CL football.

I think it's a bit harsh to blame him completely for those goals tonight. Brown wasn't marking properly and gave his man a free header. No idea why Tierney wasn't covering the near post and basically got in Gordon's way.
For the second, again Janko barged into him!
He's not the best goalie we've ever had, but he's a million miles away from the worst. If we can get better, we should go for it. But I think you're being overly harsh.
The first he let the ball go under his hand because he shaaat it.. no excuse for being a wimp.
The second.. he obviously doesn't waaaank much coz his wrist strength is that of a little girl.
Difficult to disagree with Jukey tbh
It was a poor penalty but he still saved it, could've went early or the other way and it would've been in.
Blaming him for their first tonight is harsh, I thought he was iffy at first too but Tierney getting a touch on the line made it look a weaker header than it was, it was Brown's fault losing his man. And I think the 2nd was 99% Janko.
He's cost us a few CL goals though, no denying that.

Sometimes, people get an inherent dislike for a player, and no matter what they do they will forever be irredeemable.
I don't think you're being fair on him-you've completely ignored that the header should never have got near him, or that Tierney should have been able to clear that if he'd been where he was supposed to be.
I don't think he's immune from criticism, but I don't think most of what's been said about him tonight is fair.

I disagree
I think that Gordon IS the best keeper we have ever had.
But he is going through a slightly sticky patch. I have seen far worse keepers go through far worse sticky patches in the past though.

Janko's number is 22 multiplied by the 4 major mistakes he makes per game = 99
Straight up, undeniable facts
Forster was better than Gordon. As was Boruc in his prime.

The abuse he's been getting at games reminds me of the Ronny days. A goalkeeper's confidence ruined by some of the grumpiest fans I've witnessed. Let's get the new guy in because he's new.
How can you make half a major mistake?!?
You can if you just accept these obvious facts that add up to 99% somehow..........
