Couldn't believe Janko survived the whole game.
I've never seen a performance that bad. Didn't help the rest of the team weren't much better than him.
However with him only being 20 years old, time is on his side. Both our full backs struggled big time last night I thought.
Overall I couldn't believe the way we played. We were horrible. Couldn't string more than a few passes together.
BUT WERE THROUGH
How the hell are you Cali? Where the F have you been? Haven't seen you on here in ages. Hope all is well 👍🏻
And yes I don't care that we were crap, the most important thing was getting through. At least we learned last night that Janko can't be trusted. Gordon is suspect and apparently we ain't all that either. We've been great domestically but last night showed us up.
But with big Erik back and hopefully a new right back I think we will do better. Another striker and perhaps a creative midfielder would be nice too 👍🏻
Janko will rightly get slaughtered for last night, he was shocking but he wasn't alone. We just couldn't keep hold of the ball, either bullied off it or meekly giving it back to them.
I don't think we'll play as badly as that again in Europe this year regardless of who we get in tommorrows draw, we're in the CL now, last night was all about our nerves and how bad we dealt with the pressure.
Bring on Madrid,

Just walking into work...thinking about CL football...
Janko has ace and that's it. He has no ball control whatsoever
BR was quick to get rid of Efe.
With Eric the Viking fit again, hopefully Janko disappears just as quickly.
Still need a RB. to compete with ML
Just as interesting will be who leaves before the window shuts.

Janko is just an athlete but he has no skill
I thought KT was out of position far too often last night and I would question him for the first goal. Gordon Strachan pointed this out also at the end of the game by saying he left too many gaps.

Cant blame him for the goal he cleared it off the line and it hit Gordon in the back. Gordon should have saved it but didn't a get a strong hand to it.
KT was in his sight line Timmy and if truth be told he should have stayed on the line in the first place as he already played 2 players on by being caught in no man's land.
KT on the post stops that goal with a swing of his trusty left peg........his right peg would have stopped it and all..

Been good, man! Things are well, how about you?
Yeah, I tend to just kinda disappear over the summer break, then slowly come back throughout the season
Yeah, Janko struggled big time. Its weird, I thought last season he was playing really well til his injury. Right now, nothing seems to be working for him and like I said, really surprised he managed to stay on the park for the whole game.
In terms of signings, a RB is now obvious. If we don't get another striker, I'd say another CM is key. I think McGregor will come in and be useful this season, but I don't think he's good enough to be playing in the CL at the moment. I do like the look of him though and hopefully continues to get better under Rodgers.
