Should have been used more often. A very decent player.

I'll never forget that time he scored a free kick against Man Utd and the referee said it was too early and was disallowed. There was nothing wrong with it from what i remember.

He was ok for us, always frustrated the life out of me as I've never seen someone miss so many one on ones in my life.

Good career though

Unremarkable to be honest.

He was one off the hottest young players in world football at one stage - not bad for a Irish player

I've always looked back at Robbie Keane as being 2 different players for us, the very impressive, sharp striker who we had on loan for half a season or so, and then the not so impressive player we paid £12m for.

I loved the fact that he supported us as a kid.

(As well as, Liverpool, Wolves, Spurs, Coventry, Inter Milan etc. etc.)

Was great on loan and then was poor after that, missed so many sitters.

He's had a good career though scored a lot of goals

Pointless signing, wasn't a player who could make the difference between also ran team and champions for us.

I watch him captain the LA Galaxy every few weeks. Been saying he should retire the last 18 months or so. He seems to score soon after I say that, every time!

Always felt that it was a case of a hyperactive-child inside adult's body: he never quite looked in control of himself. Which - yes, I accept, sometimes - meant he did something stupidly outrageous - which had us going completely bonkers - but like as not, it would come to nothing.

Overall, more frustrating than anything.
