I saw this thread, saw +300 responses and guessed that may be it turned into a slanging match. After a very fair post by the OP, the defensive scousers turn this in to a my club is bigger than yours, our right back is better than yours contest.
Everyone knows LFc are the bigger club and we will never likely achieve what they have, but that's irrelevant ....facts of the present are that neither club have won much, One League Cup each in 10 seasons. Spurs have been consistently better for more of that decade. Liverpool are playing catch-up. ...season so far suggests they still have work to do to better us, mainly as their defence sucks.
I predict 0-0. 2 teams cancel eachother out in a tight game, much like last season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
we won the fa cup in 2006 ffs, 10 seasons
go back a year earlier
So.lets count together shall we.....
1. 2015/16
2. 14/15
3. 13/14
4. 12/13
5. 11/12
6. 10/11
7. 9/10
8. 8/9
9. 7/8
10. 6/7
...and you exactly demonstrate my point. Scousers still wanting to argue when the facts of the matter are pretty clear. Still trying to score points. Accept you are not what you were, not always winning trophies...miles away from winning the CL again, not even in Europe.

But we've been told for a long time now that Spurs are streets ahead of Liverpool.
That being the case, how come you couldn't beat Liverpool at WHL?
And more to the point, how come this far superior Spurs team have only scored 1 solitary goal (today's goal btw) against Liverpool's mediocre defence since 2012?
Spurs yet again fail to beat Liverpool at WHL.

The good version of Spurs hasn't turned up in over 50 years. Sandy is the only Spurs fan on here who can tell us what they were like

probably not.
we were absolutely terrible on Saturday (as usual when we play Liverpool)
if I was a Liverpool fan I would be livid that you didn't win that game.
